"Mommy, mommy". Anele comes running into the living room, followed by Vera. "I missed you mommy, but it was so much fun at the park with Vera, I got to feed the ducks”.
"Oh that's so nice sweetie and mommy missed you too". I worked a night shift last night, so I have been sleeping the morning away.
She crawls up in my lap, snuggling into me. "Daddy is at a meeting.. he told me so.. and to let mommy sleep, because mommy was tired.. Are mommy tired now ?"
"No, mom is not tired anymore". I hug her into me and kiss her forehead. "Mommy just has a little tummy ache".
