CHAPTER FIVE

On Monday

Justice POV

The bell rang for assembly, and everybody ran to the hall.

" Good morning students" the principal greeted enthusiastically

" Good morning sir" the whole crowd replied

" Trust you all slept well ? " The principal asked

" Yes sir " the crowd replied

" Well, as you all know your exams are in two weeks time" the principal announced

Murmuring erupted from the crowd, while I just grunted , not I'll fail but I wanna still stick around for football and something important..........

" Please shut the guts,The valedictorians and salutatorian of these outgoing stars will be picked soon , your academics and characters or behaviors are closely more watched , is that clear ?" the principal said

" Yes sir " the students chorused in unison

" Jessica, Justice, Liam, Leo see me in my office now, after the assembly" the principal said as he ended the assembly .

At the principal's office

" Why I've summoned you all here is to inform you all about an upcoming sports competition that I've specifically picked you guys for " the principal said while adjusting his glasses.

" Okay sir " we all answered

" It will be the Saturday of this week, understood?, any questions ?, and Jessica you'll be running for 400m and 600m" the principal asked

" Sir I'm not much of a runner " Jessica said

" Okay then , is settled, Justice will coach you more while Clara will ron for 400m" the principal concluded

Yes , I'll have time alone with fireball, I pray it shouldn't be a disaster

" But, why not _________" Jessica started

" No buts, you're dismissed now " the principal said

After series of lessons

Break time ^⁠_⁠^

" Clara !!!! Clara !!! Clara !!! " Sharon called

" Why are you ranting my name All over the place like that ? " Clara hissed

" Geez , girl ,take chill pill, your attention is needed at the principal office right now for something urgent " Sharon said rolling her eyes

" Me ? What did I do again? Or has the fool reported me to the principal? " Clara asked herself

" Lead the way " Clara said to Sharon.

Ten minutes later

" Lisa !!!! Sharon !!!!! " Clara called happily

" What's the problem, Clara " Lisa said checking Clara's temperature to make sure is okay.

" No, not at all, I've been selected to represent the school in a sports competition" Clara squealed while doing a little dance

" Really?, girl I'm happy for you " Lisa said giving her a hug from

" But, we do have a problem, Clara isn't prefect in running " Sharon said

" Yeah " Clara said dejectedly

" Oh, I've got an idea " Lisa said

" Please share " Clare said

" Justice is a good runner , maybe he could teach " Isa said as they cut her short

" Teach me ???? , wow what a brilliant idea" Clara said giving her a high five

" I'll tell him by the time school closes " Clara said smiling widely

Jessica POV

After series of lessons

GRRRRRRRRRR!!! CLOSING TIME

Everyone packed their backpack and a the school compound was filled with students from different angles walking up and down as I saw Justice walk towards my direction and my heart started beating against my ribcage .

" Hi " Justice greeted

" Hello " I answered nervously, holy moly, I've never been this nervous in my life, but talking to your crush it has never been different.

" Erm, could you please give me your number so we could schedule for the practice " Justice said giving me that killer smile, no , Jess don't lose your compsure

" Okay, give me your phone so I could type it in " I said averting my eyes as he brought out his phone and I typed the number and gave him the phone back.

" Okay see you ______" Justice said as a voice cut him short

" Hi " Clara greeted colly while eyeing me , oh not again, this witch 🪄 🧹 🧹. Justice ignored her like she didn't exist, I almost laughed out loud but I covered it with a chuckle 🤭 🤭 🤭

" Justice, I want to ask you for a favor" Clara said fidgeting with her fingers

" What is it ? I told you to leave my damn life alone " Justice growled

" I wanted to ask if you could teach or coach me for that sports competition " Clara said smiling seductively

" I'm already entitled to teach someone important" Justice said nonchalantly, I love that speech , I wanna see her f*****g expression.

" Who ? Or could you just teach us together? " Clara said

" It's is her and I have been appointed by the principal, please f*****g find another althete to coach you" Justice said with a hiss. This is going well , oh my good God I'm still trying to hold my laughter😂😂😂🤭.

" Oh please sorry to waste your precious time, I'll chat you up later, you don't mind do you? " Justice said speaking to me

" Oh no , I don't mind , bye see you tomorrow, bye Clara " I said as I passed her a wicked grin and walked away.

At Clara's house

" Welcome back young mistress" the maids greeted while bowing

" f**k you all !!!!! " Clara said stoning her school shoes and backpack at them as she stomped off to her room.after taking her bath she met a message from an unknown guy in her phone.
