Prologue
Some people grow up in warm families and get a wide variety of opportunities. Most of them will most likely miss a vast set of these, while some others might grab a handful.
Some other people do not get the privilege, and that is where we usually find our personas of admiration: Those who never got the chances, but managed to create them.

Our story takes place in a country, city and campus that their names are not relevant, for our story is a slight taste of international events.
It takes place in our very own time, in this very moment that delivers the birth of a new baby or signs another pair of papers for divorce, but in our case - it's just another morning for Bina.
From a single glance on the street, Bina is probably unseen, or more likely to say - unnoticed. A girl who is ought to be a lady, always walks on the safer side of the pavement (which is, of course, the closest to the buildings), avoiding anything that might be harmful according to her unclear judgment (as stray animals receive the opposite treatment), and never stops to talk with strangers.
It's probably the appropriate moment to remind us all that Bina is already twenty-one, and a quick friendly how-is-life-doing talk of one with the neighbor might be a pleasant greeting for both, but not for Bina.
Bina was diagnosed with a high-functioning autism by the age of seven.
Actually, it wasn't a symptom that brought her to the diagnoser's room, but her extraordinary analytical abilities for her age. Well, and maybe some of her inability to understand her fellow classmates behaviors around her, due to that.
Thankfully, our protagonist could grow up nurturing her brains and talents without a lot of disturbances, but it did take a set or two of tears shed and extra defensives to outgrow school up to now.
What is less favorable, is the fact that the process has never been a true introduction to society for our friend, which she has never gotten the chance to learn to this day.
