Morning Training II

With that being said, Master Tenshi then showed them what they should do. From his palm, a constant stream of water is coming out. It touches the ball's surface, and while he moves forward, the ball also rolled alongside him. Looking at the slope's steep angle, it is clear how much power should be used to maintain the ball in front of them. However, continuing walking forward in less than five minutes, Master Tenshi managed to reach the top without even breaking a sweat at all. After that, he walked down the slope again and arrived in front of the group. “Alright, you’ve seen what to do with the ball. Feel free to start. As for Alan, you just need to push the ball over there while transformed.” Master Tenshi then stepped to the side and sat down on top of a rock. The group that has already been told on what to do immediately went into action. Each and every one of them picked a ball for themselves and started to use their power to push the ball forward. What Master Tenshi performed with ease isn’t precisely the case with the performance of the group. Master Tenshi, all in all, is an S-rank hero. In comparison, the rest of them are still D-rank. What seemed easy when they looked at Master Tenshi is a challenging process when they did it themselves. Max himself tried to summon the wind to push the ball, but it barely moved forward at all. He has no choice but to use all of his power, and even by using that, the ball only rolled slowly. “Won’t the ball melt if I use my fire?” However, Iki’s worry is baseless as even after Iki used his fire, it didn’t change color or deformed. Even under Iki’s relentless flamethrower, the ball moving ever slowly towards the slope. It should be noted that Iki is the one with the strongest strength stats among the group. Even then, he has difficulty moving the ball forward. “Argh, Master Tenshi, it is fine to do anything as long as we moved the ball up the slope, right?” Everyone who is trying their best to push the ball forward feels suspicious about Iki’s question but looking at Master Tenshi giving him a nod; they didn’t say anything. However, after looking at Iki’s face, they realized that he must be planning something as his expression is like a naughty boy before pulling a prank. “Alright, take this! Iki’s special rocket punch!” Iki’s hand is entirely covered by fire. The size of the flame even made as if his hand is twice the usual size. It was as if his right hand is transformed just like a body manipulation hero. Iki then takes a few steps backward as he is preparing his next move. Focusing his sight on the ball, Iki runs forward while yelling out. He then punched the ball with all of his strength as the people around could even hear the sound of an explosion the moment Iki’s fist make contact with the ball. *Boom* Everyone is expecting the ball to be launched forward with great force. That is also what Iki has in mind when he has done this. However, betraying everyone’s expectation, the ball only shook a little before tumbled forward in a few rolls. Looking at what has just transpired, the group realized that this is the reason why Master Tenshi doesn’t seem to care at all when Iki asked the question. No matter what kind of trick they have done, the result will be the same. There is no shortcut as they need to do it, just like how Master Tenshi has shown them. Realizing that, Kieran patted Iki’s shoulder to console the still dumbfounded boy. Kieran himself has it hard. His power is based on the sound element. Speaking of which, it has weak destructive power. He couldn’t even do anything when they are tasked to fill the balloon with elements as he hasn’t grasped his own power and how it could be used to do something like that. Right now, with the task of pushing the ball, Kieran has tried launching a sonar attack towards it, but the result is that the ball only swayed slightly without being pushed forward. Kieran has always thought that his ability is extraordinary, but he never thought that he would be disadvantaged with the training method given to them by Master Tenshi. Everyone who used their elements looked at Alan, thinking if he gets an advantage on this test. However, after looking at him, they realized that the difficulty is equal between the red ball and the black ball. Alan has completely transformed, and even his bluish-black fur has a sign of turning red. All of the muscle on his body also bulged due to him trying to exert more power, but the black ball only moved at a snail pace despite all of that. It is also to be noted that they haven’t even reached the steep part of the slope. They are still on the flat ground heading towards the hill. If they already have difficulty doing this on flat ground, they don’t dare to imagine how they will cope when they are climbing the slope later. Not to mention, if they run out of energy, there is a danger that the ball will run them down once they stopped pushing it forward. They could suffer severe injury, and even their life might be in danger. They just talk about how the training they had yesterday isn’t tiring at all. That is because they haven’t even started the main part of the training. Experiencing the training to push the ball upwards the slope, not even fifteen minutes have passed, but all of them are drenched in sweat. To maintain a stable amount of power, the concentration needed is tremendous. If the test to fill the balloon is like a test for elementary graders, this test of pushing the ball upslope is like the test for senior high school students. There are several differences that make the difficulty raised exponentially, just like the differences between the sky and the earth.
