blind madness

947 Words
Blind Madness is being in the state of losing the sight of understanding; an unheard calling to a place holding the heart of a Boomerang Nebula and the mind of the Synanceia verrucose. And, I didn’t want to be in a Blind Madness Zone about the murder of my father, and going away from this place; the city which holds his soul, his love for me and traces of his kindness, and greatness everywhere around me. “Yes. This is the right decision.” I murmured to myself in order to jolt up my confidence levels. I was in dire need of it. Grandmother has been nonchalantly being ornate towards the coffee brewing in the machine, which only increased my nervousness, and the unavoidable knots in my stomach. How will she react to my decision? Her reaction is only something which will affect me. I didn’t care for what would mother think about this development, nor Jules’s, and Grandfather is someone just out of my radar about life decisions. And I knew the sunny skies said that father would want this for me. A temporary peace from here. I am not going to bang about it to anyone except Grandmother; besides I just have traitors around me, at the moment, so it is just difficult to trust someone. Is this the end of my relationship with Kriag? Even before it was started? Was it just physical attraction at the end of the day? When will he contact me? Or, should I? He still hasn’t replied to my message. And Taylor Swift did say to never text twice to someone assuming that he might have missed my first text. No. He already saw it. And didn’t want to reply. As hard as it is to accept, I will digest it. And my proof of him ignoring me is his i********: status, and that shady tweet about some flower crew on twitter. Is he going to never talk to me again? And, this is still in my side of the story, of this one decision, I didn’t dare think about the differences it could bring in the Mendel brothers lives. This can’t be Gabriel’s fault because I didn’t reveal him the identity of the person, I was taking a like in. And by the way things are turning out I think when I told him that I like someone he might have thought it is my way of dodging the deal; just another reason to say no. Which wasn’t. “Radhe’s mother was telling me that coffee tastes good with a banana. Do you want to try it baby?” I tried not to cringe; it really sounded bad. Wouldn’t it taste so weird? But again, it can’t be that worse because when the same contents being put in a mixer, fast further, a little addition of sugar, and cream may end up becoming the bestseller thick shake at Starbucks, and Coffeetruck. That’s the beauty of mixers; it can make the worse into best and mash a cup of potatoes into shaved fries too. “No Granny. I just had my lunch.” I refused politely, trying to create the atmosphere to drop my bomb of disappearance. “Yum. This is amazing. How do you think it will taste with banana chips?” Okay. That’s worse, now. As much Jules didn’t want to say he has the genes of Grans I could always see their weird similarities. What is with banana chips and my family? Some old soulmate connection, must be. There is no other explanation. “You need to completely forget about my existence Gran.” “That wouldn’t be too hard. What do you even do for me that I would want to remember you forever? I have too many important things to take care of.” Grandmother was being extra sceptical about this ordeal than me! Maybe holding something to drink, in my hand, would’ve given me a little distraction at the least. “That is better than. I want a promise from you.” Seeing that Grandmother was keeping herself busy at her studio, in the calm weaves of the waters seen from the window, and working on healing herself after the tragic death of father I didn’t feel like telling her about my planned endeavours of luxury, and unwanted glory. “Nothing comes for free in this world. You need to make me a promise in return.” “Okay–Okay. What is it?” I asked, laughing off my delicious apprehension. “23rd October. You need to be present here, my studio, at any cost. I don’t care from where you are supposed to come or any other demeaning factor.” Grandmother kept her target clear with the stressors on ‘come’ parts. “Fret not, That’s easy.” I gave her my pinky finger to seal the promise, which she refused and took my phone, and gave it back to me to unlock it–which I did, “I am saving a remainder in your calendar. It’s better to trust technology than your memory.” “It’s the call of blood Gran. I will not need a damn phone to remind me.” Only if humans know it all, huh! “Now, my turn.” And Grandmother was back to resume her stalled activity of sipping coffee; hopefully she is maintaining her caffeine levels or I won’t be able to face seeing her suffer, even health wise, if not her mental health on fire isn’t already enough. “Do not search my name on the internet. Avoid any news, articles and... just everything about me on the internet. Okay?”
