decisions

Decisions of life are no big deal until it’s suddenly about oneself. Damn how right it fit me like the perfect pair of gloves, in this case, the super perfecto dialogue. My mind was torpified of thinking, resolving, then overthinking, reasoning and then again hypothesising if my decision is going to be worth it or not. I better hope it is. Or is it a Cinderella story I am about to make it into short hair Rapunzel without a tower sort of choice? “I have told Tina to apply for an upgradation of engine for this baby, a freaking Boeing BBJ 777-8 but apparently I don’t exist in her axis of world!” Jamie complained, and I laughed at his remark. He was my pilot today, and he is going to be my life changing bay lifter to drop me off at Nicoman State, which will where I will be a guest for three months. “It is a real double engine beast. Your mighty majesty surely baths in gold water!” He and I have become instant hit to extremely comfortable buddies in vehicle talks. Being in his fifties did give him an advantage over experience but it was just so much fun for me to learn. “It’s too bad that you missed your license against the race of two mere classes. I really wanted to see a girl fly!” If someone hears this, they may label him a racist for discrimination of gender but these two hours has given me an ample time to understand he sincerely meant to watch me take the joystick in control! And, I was a genius judge of character. “So what height is the max you had flied at?” I am not your average girl who would avoid a geek talk. What if someday I land an aviation advertisement ticket and I bloody don’t know the difference between an A check and B check? Or worse, a Line Maintenance check and a Routine Maintenance Check! A human brain is a lifelong chronic seeker of knowledge and the more you learn the emptier you feel about the world. So, I become ambitious to learn too many new things that one day I can beat the emptiness with my brim of vast collection of cognizance. Rashmi has made sure all my things were loaded into the deck accordingly from my remodelled spring collection–which I failed to send it directly to Nicoman state because of not having Dara’s phone number– to the gym outfits one for each day till a month, and not the least the safety items in two boxes which she has prepared keeping her heart and ears on the line. “There was this one time when a pregnant lady was in labour, premature of course, and my co-pilot Nishant was down with stomach infection which left me handicapped with two major patients on board. So, I had to like make eighty circles in the NA hemisphere and then when the fuel was about to tell me goodbye, I landed it in somewhere island and it was an epidemic chaos.” The way he explained it in a funny way just let the strength part of his courage and power to take care of such a serious situation overshadow showed how with age humans don’t stress in taking pride for things they are really proud about. They talk about it just like any other normal thing in their lives, just like liking curry meal over pickled rice. Sometimes I just feel like I should become old and older, very soon, so that little things like love, life and family will not keep bothering me, and overfill the thought process of my choices and happiness. But age demands lost time which we cannot go back to. I really wished that Kriag would’ve given me a chance to speak to him, I mean I just wanted a hint from him saying to come and talk, but he didn’t even bother sending me a reply. I am someone who will put effort, once, and wait for it to be reciprocated and then move on to the next stage. I tried from my side and if he thinks ignoring me, and avoiding my calls can fill up the space he is trying to create and maintain a distance then I wish it works out well for him, because it isn’t working for me. I don’t want to go to Nicoman State with my head clouded with so many things that I can’t focus on what I am actually intending to find. Kriag has made his choice; to keep space and avoid me. This is worse than being dumped through a text message. We are humans and we tend to sometimes learn from mistakes, which is applicable to me also, and I know I am doing something wrong if I didn’t tell him. I couldn’t simply lie to him. How absurd would it be if I would just tell him I am off on a business trip? I could’ve easily done that. But that is not me. I know this much that relations are not built on the rock bed of lies. Jamie has introduced me to two beautifully stunning ladies with contrast personalities, Miranda and Joey, who are here to accompany me for the flight and are going to be my walking stylists for the stay. I was a little disappointed in Gabriel that he didn’t send some envoy to pick me up, but then I realised this is better because I am not interested to make a headline everywhere even before things start to gear up. Am I ready for this?
