"Ready?" Alaina asked Arthur as he sharpened his blade one last time. One can never take too good of care of their weapon. He smiled at his reflection in it before turning his smile towards Alaina.
She was so young yet she led so well.
"Whenever you are," he said as he tucked his sword into its sheath. Alaina nodded as she called out to the others who soon gathered around.
"It is time," Alaina said with a smile, "are we ready for it?"
"Do you know who you're talking to?" Maximus said with a grin. Arthur laughed as he patted his son on the shoulder.
"Right," Jade said. She always seemed to have this crazy look in her eyes. It might also have been for the painted face and shaved head, "let's get to it."
