Rituals And Wolf packs

The rest of the week went by slowly.At school,no one would Look at me or pay any attention to me ,which was fine by me ,I was still getting used to the whole werewolves are real thing ,and Gigi Was one of them, Hell,so was I..

Gigi was the only permanent friend I had made since day one ,I didn't want to lose that now.And as for Brandon,I hadn't seen him in 5 days,I wondered if he had forgotten about me.. I bit my lip.

I released it with a sigh, walking away from my locker and to my next class,I smiled when I saw Gi waiting at her desk,She lifted her head when I walked in,Giving me an anxious look.I offered her a smile and her features visibly softened,giving a sigh of relief.

"I thought you might be scared of me" she bit her lip.

I laughed ,"Oh G,It would take alot more than a secret identity to scare me",My mind wandered to the three men,They scared me.

I shook my head as she gave me a worried look,"After all ,I'm one of you guys now,Right?" I smiled,Taking a seat.

"Yeah,I guess you are" She chuckled softly before turning her head to me thoughtfully,"Would you like to study the rules of the pack?,We could also go over all the stuff my brother might have missed out when he told you you were.." she led off looking around the class for any sign of a human before continuing "A wolf?"

I nodded "Let's do it at mine" she smiled in agreement.

I texted my mom quickly.

'Hey mum,My friend Gigi is coming over to study, she'll probably be staying for dinner just to let you know..'

She texted back ten minutes later.

'*smiley emoji*,*star emoji*,*Japanese flag emoji*'

I frowned what?

'??'

'Sorry honey ,these cartoon things keep coming onto my screen,That's fine,you know your friends are always welcome xx '

I giggled typing a quick thanks and mentally reminding myself to teach my mum what emojis are.

The rest of the day zoomed past and before I knew it I was hopping Into the back of my mum's car with Gigi in tow.

"Mum,this is Gigi,Gigi this is my mum"

They both exchanged pleasantries talking animatedly about how lovely my mother's hair was. Meanwhile I sat in silence,Staring out the window wondering what Saturday would bring.

When we arrived home ,my mum told me she had a few errands to do so she dropped us off and drove off ,I let us in and we entered the kitchen ,Grabbing a few snacks.I heard an angry Low Growl,I turned to look at Gigi but she looked just as confused as I did. then who and what was that growl? ,Gigi sniffed the air and her eyes turned black,pushing me behind her. "Rogue!" she spat.

I heard loud banging down the stairs and my heart plummeted in my chest,remembering Brandon's words about rogues. The next minute I know a voice boomed making me cover my ears.

"GET AWAY FROM HER"

A growl ripped Gigi's Throat And I opened my eyes that I couldn't remember closing,There stood Alex ,Eyes black and baring his teeth. This can't be happening.He's not..,I'd know...

I stepped Infront of Gigi And she and Alex snapped at me at the same time "Stay back ,he's dangerous!","Careful she'll attack"

I shook my head

"Gigi,This is my brother Alex.Alex,This is Gigi,My best friend."

They both looked at me in slight shock.

"autumn you didn't tell me your brother was a wolf too".

"That's because I didn't know!" ,I snapped,Looking directly at Alex who looked dumbfounded.

"How could you not tell me!?" I shouted.

"I-"

"You're a Wolf ,A rogue wolf ,A lone wolf" I whispered.

He shook his head taking a step toward me

"Autumn..I was born like this,You weren't the only one who was adopted,mom and dad ,They're supernatural too,you're the only one who's not"

My mouth dropped.

Gigi frowned."I didn't sense a wolf in your mom,Also ,Autumns a Wolf too"

I nodded."It's true,Brandon did tests on me,there's just something wrong with me,my wolf is being with held because I wasn't brought into a pack when I was five." I mumbled.

Alex stood there,looking at his feet in guilt.He knew I was a wolf.

Gigi was still dumbfounded "How is it I can't sense a wolf in your mum anyway?" she snapped.

Alex spluttered."She's not a wolf,She's a witch,My father's a Warlock,They couldn't have children so they adopted us."

I Gasped. Gigi Looked confused beside me before it looked like a light went on inside."Cloaking spell" she muttered.

"So how is it after 20 years of being a rogue,you aren't mad?" I asked curiously.

He swallowed " I was linked to the same pack you were born into when I was five ,I was the Betas Son,You had only just turned three,you were the alphas Daughter.One Night I heard screaming coming from Downstairs and my mom told me to go up to the alphas floor,grab you and hide.Thats exactly what I did ,I took you from your cot and ran ,I ran into the Forrest until my legs wouldn't take it anymore and I hid with you in the bushes.The whole pack was slaughtered.Both of our parents were lost,My older brother too." he paused.

"I cried and cried and you didn't know what was happening and kept asking for your mummy and daddy,We walked for hours and hours until we found a human town ,They called social services and we were adopted by Claire And Alfred together.They knew what we were as soon as they saw us. But you never got your wolf last year so we thought..well we thought that You'd lost your wolf forever." He looked guilty.

"We were going to tell you when you were 10 but you never displayed any qualities of a pup and You didn't have super human strength or speed.No desire to go outside and no Natural fight instincts.Then we decided when you got your wolf we'd tell you.But you never did." He finished.

I sat down on the nearby sofa,Alex following me. Gigi stiffened though."What was your pack called?" she looked as if she already knew but was awaiting confirmation.

He looked at her with sadness and grief " The Snow moon Pack"

She nodded.

"My father Alpha Roman ,Was friends With Alpha Kendrick and Luna Carmen,Beta Harrison and Bethany too...I remember the day we were told the pack had been slaughtered and there were no survivors.My father travelled to the pack ,my mum said he searched high and low for their only child but there was no body.He assumed she was torn apart by rogues.My father wept all day ,and cried all night telling my mother he had found Alpha Kendrick ontop of Luna Carmen,he'd died protecting her." She looked at me sadly." he looked for all the unaccountable bodies,including yours,for weeks,Telling us that we'll take in the survivors so that they wouldn't turn rogue. But we never found anyone."

Alex looked grief stricken."I remember your father, He was kind to me,his son Brandon is only a year younger I think.."

She nodded. "Brandon is autumns Mate,He turns 20 this year."

He stared at me.I blushed deeply before nodding "He explained it all to me ,werewolves that is " I bit my lip "Gigi was coming over to teach me the pack rules and stuff" ,he continued to stare at me.

"You're a Luna"

I winced "Uh.." I glanced at Gigi who looked at me curiously. " Actually I haven't accepted the whole Luna thing yet.I don't even feel the mate bond with Brandon" I looked down guiltily.

"You don't?" he asked worriedly,Then Glancing at Gigi questioningly .

Gigi sighed. "Until she's Done the pack ritual,And she turns 18 ,Her wolf won't respond to the mate bond yet."

"Oh" he replied.

I glanced at him and then I remembered something.

"Wait,Where's your rogue scar?" I said,slightly proud of myself. Alex shot me and Gigi a confused look and Gigi gave me a smug,slightly impressed smile.

"What do you mean rogue scar?" he said Confused

I spent the next ten minutes filling him in on rogue scars and how they worked until he lit up like a light bulb.

"Oh! ,This?" He lifted up his shirt and I saw A circle just above his collarbone with a line though it.The colour was red and it was Like a tattoo.I saw Gigi checking him out from the corner of my eye and narrowed my eyes at her. dude that's my brother I thought to myself.

She cleared her throat,blushing,"You could join our pack too" she directed at him.

He looked at her in suprise "I could?"

She nodded enthusiastically.

"I don't know..I mean,they're all going to look down on me because Im a rogue,just like you did" he Swallowed hard.

I looked to her and she grimaced,"I thought you were a different type of rogue.Everyone Knows the difference,you'd be welcomed into the pack to start anew,You wouldn't be a rogue anyway,And atleast you'd have some kind of scent and a place to be yourself,you could even find your mate "She said softly.

He had a sudden longing in his eyes that I didn't understand,But she did " I'll tell the alpha of your plans to join the pack"

He nodded gratefully before her eyes Frosted over and she went slightly rigid.I frowned. What's that all about? ,when her eyes went back to normal ,She looked at us in excitement."You're both being ritually accepted into the pack on Saturday!"

I smiled,Atleast I had someone to do it with now.

"So..Pack rules!" She started to me and Alex

"Number One: Never Disrespect The Alpha or Luna....."
