A Luna's prophecy.

I danced in the mirror wildly ,My hand poised as if I had a mic in it,"This is the rhythm of the nighttttt" I sang loudly before someone rudely interrupted my solo. "Autumn! ,stop screeching and hurry up,I need a shower too!" my brother wailed on the other side of the door. Ah..my lovely big brother Alex."I'll be out in a minute!" I said lazily. I started to comb my Long wet Auburn hair,grimacing as it hit knots along the way,it now smelt of Lemon and rose water,the scent from the shampoo I was using.Once I had blow dried my hair ,I put a volume black mascara on my lashes which complimented my deep blue eyes and put on a light natural lip gloss,wrapping my petite 5'6 body in a white towel before exiting the bathroom and walking to my bedroom,all the while humming softly. Once dressed I headed downstairs only to find my parents and my brother sitting on the sofa with a solemn expression planted on their faces. "What's going on?" I asked,My heart beating in my chest rapidly. oh god I hope it's not gran.. "sit down hunny,we have something to tell you" my mother gestured toward the seat beside Alex. I sat,crossing my arms.. waiting "The thing is-" my mother started "I got a new job" my father blurted out. My mother glared daggers at him. I sighed In relief "That's great dad! ,What's the job!?" I said excitedly,hugging him. He stiffened. "Company director for Idris corps" he said slowly I sat back in my seat. "Idris corps?" I'd never heard of it. "It's a large company that makes new hospital equipment" my mother answered. "Wow!" I said excitedly "When do you start?" "Next Friday" I couldn't understand why everyone was so upset by this."why aren't you happy?" I glanced at dad. "honey you've got to understand,I did this for the money.." my dad paused "The new job,It's in Celeste City." my mouth dropped open,hoping I'd heard wrong "Celeste City?...like THE Celeste city..half way across the country?!" I raised my voice slightly. He nodded. "But what..How are you going to get to work?.." I snapped my eyes up,"you're moving us halfway across the country?!" oh my god ,there's no way. "Im sorry" he said sheepishly. "but what about school?,my friends?,our stuff?" I whispered,shocked. "well, we'll start you at a new school,I'm sure you'll make some new friends,And our stuff is coming with us,We have a new house in a small town just outside of the city,it's called Estrella Town" my mother answered my questions carefully. I Glared at Alex "Did you know about this?!" he looked at me guiltily "only for a few days.." great ,everyone knew but me. Their betrayal hurt me,they knew how happy I was here,That I would never want to move. I sighed,Turned on my heel and stomped my way up the stairs,muttering "well I guess I'd better start packing.." 5 days later I had packed most of my items together in boxes ,Looking around at my now bare looking room,I teared up,This house held so many happy memories,It was the place my mum and dad bought after they adopted me,I was three,my mum and dad had been killed in a freak accident apparently and I was found by a police officer ,Since then this house has been my home for nearly 15 years.I nearly forgot that my birthday was a month away and I would soon be 18,I sighed ,Id already said my tearful farewells to my bestriends Jess and George whom kept me sane for the past 5 years and they promised to stay In touch. I can't believe I was really leaving. I packed up the rest of my boxes,Taping and labelling them before starting to load them into the moving truck waiting downstairs.I looked around at our neighborhood with emotion,trying to study and memorize it one last time. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Hey you okay?" ,I turned to see Alex,his eyebrows knitted together in concern. I nodded,Smiling sadly before he pulled me into a hug"For a 17 year-old you sure are a softie " he mumbled,"And for a 20 year old you aren't so hard yourself" I Snarked back ,pulling apart.We both laughed. "I'm going to miss this place" he Said softly ,"Me too" I whispered. " it's time " my father shouted. we all started to pile into the car,And I gave one last look at the house I'd called home for so many years and closed my eyes,almost as if taking a picture.An end of an era. **** *6hours later* I was shaken awake."We're here!" they exclaimed. I looked Out at our new house,A tall, modern but exceptionally large House was staring back at me,my jaw dropped. Its way bigger than the last house. "I call dibs on the biggest room!" Alex Said hastily I laughed "not if I get there first" We both ran into the House,eager to find the biggest room,I found a medium sized room first,Plain with wardrobe space,the next room similar but with an adjoining bathroom,after that room it was Large one with a bathroom and walk in closet and a window that looked out onto the trees.But the last one caught my eye and I smiled,this one's mine. The bedroom was Big but not the biggest of the four,It had a slanted roof on one side with a window on the ceiling,looking out at the stars,right above the double bed .The room had a walk in closet and A large bathroom with a shower ,bath,sink and a toilet inside,A huge wall length mirror on the door. "This one's mine!" I shouted,Making Alex rush into the room,he looked around with an unimpressed glance, then shrugged "Sure whatever,mines better,it's alot bigger than this" he said arrogantly before walking out smirking.I smiled,This room was perfect. I got settled in,Unpacking my stuff for the next few days,I decided I would paint the Room Midnight blue with one wall of wallpaper that had trees swaying in the night on it.I unpacked my clothes and sorted then into colour order and then decided to soak in the bath ,I'd start my new school tomorrow 'Estrella High' I was dreading it.No one liked being the new kid,I thought I'd give myself a new look to show who I was on my first day. I sorted out a few clothes for the morning And Put my curling wand on top of the clothes to remind myself to curl my hair tomorrow,I slipped into bed,setting my alarm for 6AM and drifting off to sleep.
