A Luna's prophecy.

Run! Lexie screamed at me as I backed away in horror from the predator looming over me.Suddenly ice ran through my veins in the darkness,Paralysis slipping into my mind as it rooted me to the spot.

Lexie why can't I move?

LEXIE??!

A silent tear Dripped down my cheek as a Rough hand stroked my cheek "Come now child,Don't cry,We don't want to spoil the Face of a Luna before we've even started the trials." He cackled At his own words.I howled silently for the only person who could save me. Brandon please I whined in my mind,but somehow I knew my mind link didn't reach him.

A prick to my neck pulled me out of the mind link and into an unconscious Depth.I heard Everything yet I couldn't talk or speak,My mind wouldn't work,my wolf had shut down.I was completely alone in my own mind,without my counter parts.

I gasped.Sweat drenching my forehead as I sat up.I looked around to find myself in my bed.Lexie?

She groaned.What?,What makes you think I wanna be up at 3.56am ? Is it because I'm a wolf?Well news flash I'm a night creature not a morning bird. She snapped at me sassily.

I burst into tears. Oh Jesus.Im sorry I didn't mean to snap I'm just tired and I haven't stretched my legs yet.Im so frustrated not being able to hunt and feel the mud in my paws.

I sniffed quietly I had this dream.It was so real I- . I paused not knowing what to say

Show me if you can. she replied curiously.

I thought hard,vividly remembering her telling me to run,Me calling for her and her not replying,And the prick to the neck and feeling Paralysis.

She gasped.Autumn.I don't think this is just a dream..Something tells me this is a vision.But how? wolves don't have abilities like that. She pondered.

That was real? when is it going to happen? Should I be worried? Oh my god it was real. I frantically rambled to her.Starting to hyperventilate.

Well You looked different,like you'd just been to a party.

No. My birthday? I swallowed hard trying to keep the lump in my throat down.

It's possible I felt her wince .

I closed off the mind link without a goodbye,I needed to process the information.I couldn't sleep knowing I was going to be kidnapped eventually,The guy was scary,it didn't show his face,it was blurry but the way his hand felt on my skin sent a shiver down my spine.What did he want me for? what trials?

I leapt Up trying to stay positive and went for a shower.Today was Monday and I planned on sitting in on the warriors today,by the next session the wolf transformation would be complete and I'd be able to Train. By the time I had got ready it was quarter to five in the morning so I slipped downstairs quietly,My feet taking me to the Warriors Training grounds.

The breeze brushed against my skin and a few goosebumps appeared,But I wasn't bothered.It was nothing compared to the ice I felt in that vision.I shrugged it off and when I reached warrior territory,Gamma Josh Smiled and gestured to come over.I did as he asked and when I got there He handed me a jacket.

"I can feel your hypothermia from here" he joked ,I laughed,shrugging it on gratefully

"Thanks,I forgot to bring a jacket,I'm still not used to living in a cold Town"

He nodded,"So to what do I owe the pleasure Autumn?" he raised an Eyebrow at me before turning back to the warriors,watching their every move intently.

"I know I can't train but I thought I'd come and watch,See how you do things ,you know?"

He didn't turn to look at me,his eyes glued to his Warriors."That's a good idea,Although I think maybe you should learn to fight in human form first before you try it in wolf form.You need to be able to protect yourself in both forms."

I liked the idea I like this guy. Lexie muttered quietly.

"What do you suggest?"

"For the first 4 weeks,You'll train as your human counterpart,Then 4 weeks of Wolf training,You'll alternate.These warriors have been doing this since they were 14,Way before they got their wolves.They did human training up until the age of 17,Then they have been training as their wolves ever since,With an occasional Training session as a human,just to keep everything fresh and well remembered."

"Who would I train with?" I Frowned,I didn't know many people yet.

"Beta Darren most likely,But if you'd like,I can suggest that Brandon do it?" he turned to look at me and I blushed. I shook my head "That's not necessary,I'm sure Beta Darren will train me just fine."

He nodded thoughtfully."He won't go easy on you,you should know that before you go into this" he said cautiously. I smiled "If he went easy on me,I wouldn't learn."

He chuckled "You've got Spirit, I'll give you that,But let's see how you feel after he knocks you on your ass for the 100th time" .

I glared at him "Maybe I'll knock him on his pretty little ass too" .

He stared at me for a second in suprise."You'd make a good Luna you know?,I really hope You and Brandon work out.He needs someone like you in his life to equal him out.The light to his dark if you will."

"Why is he the dark side?"

He hesitated "I would never speak ill of my alpha.However as my friend he's known to be a bit of an ass at times,the anger it overtakes him and he loses control.Control isn't something he's good at,That's why he'd need you to much.To keep him in check."

I nodded ,Frowning "I hope I feel the bond.I want to know how he feels ,how it is to have a mate." I whispered.

He smiled and we watched the rest of the practice together in silence,The friendship had been deepened By our talk.

Later after The warriors had finished I searched for Brandon,It was 12pm and I wanted to talk to him about tonight. Suddenly I bumped into a Hard Frame. I gasped "I'm so Sorr-"

"Watch where you're going!" The woman spat at me then her eyes widened "Autumn isn't it?,I apologise,I didn't realise it was you."

A blonde with Brown eyes stood Infront of me,The definition of a supermodel,She had wide hips and Bust with a tiny waist ,She wore red heels that matched her red smudged painted smile and a short black dress that only just about covered her ass. She offered me her hand. "I'm Tina.Its just Lovely to meet you." She grinned but her eyes glowed a little too enthusiastically for my liking.

I don't like this b***h One bit Autumn,Stay well clear.Say sorry and leave.

I offered her my hand and she shook it,I offered her a polite smile."I'm sorry for bumping into you.. Tina,I was just looking for the alpha,I don't suppose you've seen him?" I asked with a neutral tone.

She smirked "Oh yes,he's in his office" She said with confidence.

I smiled at her "Thank you Tina,that's very helpful" I Said kindly before heading to the office I had entered just a few days ago.

I knocked twice and then let myself in.Brandon sat at his desk a white shirt half unbuttoned ,a belt strewn across the other side of the room.A pair of nude tights kicked underneath a chair and a smudge of Red lipstick on his neck,One on his concealed chest,Showing through the unbuttoned shirt and finally ,His lips seemed swollen,smudged in red.

"What is it" he Snapped gruffly ,not looking up from his Laptop which was open on his desk .

A pang of Hurt spread through my chest,making it feel hard to breathe.I let out a small gasp,Hurt flashing into my eyes.He looked up alarmed which turned to guilt as soon as he saw me standing there.

"I..It's..Autumn.." she staggered out in shock,He knew he'd been caught.I fled the room as Tears filled my eyes.I wasn't sure why I was crying ,What did I expect? him to have real feeling for me?so much for this mate bullshit! I ran Towards the only person I trusted at this moment.Alex.

My heart was breaking more every second I thought about it.I felt angry and betrayed,Hurt but confused,All at the same time. I went to Alex's room knocking frantically.He opened the ,taking in my current state and ushered me in ,As soon as I was inside,I let it all out,I fell to the floor in agony,My eyes flooding with every passing moment.Why did it hurt so bad? I didn't even feel the mate bond yet! If there was such a thing.

Alex kneeled beside me,Hugging me,Resting his head ontop of mine. "What happened?" he demanded to know.

"B-brandon" I sobbed

"What about him?! " he fumed with anger.

"He..He..Another woman" I couldn't word full sentances.

His eyes turned black."Where.Is.He?" Alex said to me calmly with a hint of restraint.

"I..I..Why does it hurt so bad?..I don't..I can't..even.. feel the mate bond yet..can I?" I spoke in between sobs,Trying to calm myself down.

Alex's Eyes softened ,Holding me tighter and stroking my hair,This made me cry harder making me remember how Brandon stroked my hair just last night.

Alex's Eyes Frosted over And the door bust open a couple seconds later,Gigi running to my side.She flung her arms around me And soothed me,rocking me slightly as We cuddled.Soon my sobs Turned into sniffles but my heart still broke more and more.

A pounding of footsteps echoed outside of the room and Brandon appeared at the door,Eyes black and scary,When he took in the state I was in his eyes softened,He looked panicked.

Alex Let out a low growl,His eyes blackening as Brandon tried to Take a few steps toward me.

He halted when Alex Growled,Looking back at me in concern."Autumn I-" he Pleaded. This made me burst into a fresh sea of tears and Gigi stood up glaring menacingly at her older brother.A growl ripped her throat "You need To go" She Demanded like the alphas Daughter she was,Power swarming around her like lightning,buzzing through the tense air.

"I'll see you tonight" he whispered,Directed at me, but I shook my head ,now standing for myself wobbly.

"N-No." I sobbed.

He looked taken aback.

"But you said you needed me there because you trust me" he said in a small voice,Like I'd just cut him down.

"That was when I trusted you." I sobbed out. "Now you're just like everyone else," I whispered shakily,Trying to stay strong.

He looked Dejected,like i'd torn his heart out and put it on a platter for a rogue to eat. Good,Now you almost know how I feel.

He stared open mouthed at me."Autumn please" he whispered horsely. At that moment Darren walked in and a reckless,Stupid thought sprang to mind.

Don't you dare Lexie warned. She was upset but she Didn't want this.

But I was going to do it anyway.I looked at Brandon with a glare and hurt "This should Make you know,just how I'm feeling" I cried.Then I walked straight up to a confused Darren And kissed him,Wrapping my arms around his neck and trying to deepen the kiss.

Darren stumbled backwards,Pushing me away in confusion "What are you-" he Asked in shock,looking from me to Brandon in a panic.

I looked at A Shattered Brandon,His Eyes Welling up with tears,Eyes black and breathing heavily.

"Now leave me alone" I whispered,Hurt.

"No." his Stony ice cold tone Cut through me.

He looked around the room "Everyone get out " He snarled,They all froze.

"I SAID GET OUT" He used his alpha tone,Shaking the room,But I simply stood,my glare unbreaking,arms crossed ,not feeling a thing.The power that shook the room eminated from him,filling the room with an uncontrolled vortex of power,lashing at everything in sight.

They all cowered,Running from the room.He closed the door locking it and striding towards me,Eyes completely black,Almost inhumanely,I'd never seen him this angry.I instinctively took a step back but he was faster,Smashing me against the wall.

"MINE!" He Growled lowly,Not a Fraction of human left in him.He pinned my arms above me with one hand whilst the other wrapped it's way around my throat.

This Angered me,I thought back to the rejection.This is why.This is why wolves reject their mates.

please don't Lexie howled,Pleading me not to do it.

"I Autumn Delilah White hereby Reje-" I started but he threw the hand over my mouth ,moving it from my throat.

"No" He Said harshly.

I kicked at him but he didn't budge.

"You are mine" He snarled Mercilessly.

I finally pushed him away enough to speak. "I'm not yours."

"Yes you are" he put his hand under my chin.An electric shock tingling its way through me.

"No!" I spat.

He crashed his lips against mine,Biting one of my lips and sucking on it,Silencing me Before pulling away. "These lips are mine." He growled,Before pulling my hair back,Making me Gasp a little. "This Hair Is mine to play with",Then he kissed my neck,Making me moan unintentionally.,He pulled away,looking me straight in the eyes"And My Mark will Be here.." He grazed the soft skin that bridged itself between my neck and my shoulder.My legs buckled beneath the graze.It felt so wrong and so right at the same time.Realisation dawned over me as his canines extended.

oh hell no.

Anger coursed through me and I pushed him away with strength I didn't know I had.His eyes widened.Returning back to the shade of Green I loved.

I felt heat run through me.Anger causing me to hyperventilate I felt a Pop and a scorching pain fighting it's way through my body.The burning blaze overtook my body ,I screamed In pain,writhing on the floor,an occasional snap sounding from my body.

"Oh no." I heard a low Voice say worriedly.Suddenly it felt as if hands were picking me up but I wasn't sure if that was the pain coursing through my body.

Soon enough I felt the cold breeze against my back and darkness everywhere.The snaps getting more frequent.I let out a loud Scream Then I started to feel sick,the torture of the pain making it worse with each sickening crunch.Then I opened my eyes ,But they weren't mine.

I was At chest level with Brandon and he looked slightly terrified,slightly intrigued.

I went to speak but only a growl sounded.

No b***h,I'm in charge now

what? but it's only 4.30pm! how can that even happen?

she let out a huff.

Wolves can force you to shift early if you're triggered by enough anger or fear.Its called a forced Shift.

Then why didn't you do this sooner?

Because you weren't fearful or angry enough for me to push my way out.
