23 “How is it even possible that he’s out in the sunlight?” Charlie repeated over and over. “How?” I looked over my shoulder. The street had curved and hidden our pursuer. “Maybe it’s the aether he’s taken in.” Alex nodded. “Probably. Aether’s got a lot more life in it than blood.” “What if he catches us?
