The Cat Is My Savior

There is a Korean proverb that says, "서당개 삼 년에 풍월 읊는다  Seo–dang–gae sam nyeon–e poong–weol eulp–neun–da"  or in English translation " After three years at a village schoolhouse, even a dog can recite a poem"   Well, this is not a romance story but a love for a friendship. A story of a friendship that will give us insight into what life would be if we are passionate and determined. He was the one who made me realize that being lazy will not do me any good so how did our friendship start? Early morning Jisoo's alarm burst out loud. He let out a frustrated groan as he still felt sleepy. Jisoo remembered playing video games up until two am so he only gained five hours of sleep. After thirty minutes, the alarm started ringing again, letting out a soft whine. He turned it off and finally shut his eyes open. A brilliant orb met his dazzling pair of eyes and, the cold breeze of wind touches his skin, already whispering in his ear to stand up because he's sure that he's already late at work. As predicted, Jisoo is late for his work. Their boss asked for his presence inside his office. It isn't the first time because this situation happens almost every day. "Hong Jisoo, This is my last warning. I don't need workers who don't know their responsibilities." Their boss Choi Seungcheol said in a disappointing tone. Jisoo let out a sigh and went out of his office. "One cup of grapefruit cold brew coffee and a piece of cheesecake, please." A tall, handsome guy with a protruding adam's apple came in to order. Jisoo busied himself for the customer's order. As soon as he got the payment, the customer sat at the table just in front of the counter. His eyes, observing Jisoo's actions from time to time. No, he doesn't like him but, he has a mission.
