A very good place to start..?
hmm... where to begin, where to begin... Charlotte wasn't your usual fun loving young adult; at the mere age of 21 she was a drifter, she was like a misplaced book on the very bottom of a library trolley moving from place to place but still not getting very far. She had never been one to stay in one place for too long a year here, a few months there always on the road to her next destination. Wherever the road took her was where she stayed which is how she ended up here, La Push beach. Washington.
Jumping off the bus and immediately being flung full force by the winds. Her long auburn hair dancing on every gust as the scent of the sea filled her entire body, she wasn't too sure how she ended up here but something was off, there was something different about this place the feeling was different. something in the pit of her stomach, making her unable to tell if this was a good feeling or bad...
She carried herself in all of her 5ft 5 glory down to the beach, right up to the edge of the sand noticing that it was almost as pale as she was. Charlotte felt strangely comfortable here, which was something she wasn't at all used to as growing up in an orphanage run by the most devoted of nuns wasn't exactly what you'd call favorable.
Never knowing where she was from, always searching for an answer was getting tiring. after 5 years of wandering, she didn't feel so lost anymore and she started to wonder that maybe this was the place she could actually call home.
sitting herself down on the shoreline, falling in love with her surroundings even more. She could have stayed all day if it weren't for the almost black clouds that were bellowing just out at sea. She quickly realized that she had no way back into the main town to find somewhere to stay... no buses, no taxis, and not even a proper path to walk!
she went back to the bus stop which at least had some form of shelter. Making it just in time before the rain came checking the time and realizing that the buses were few and far between she decided to just stick it out and wait, settling herself down on the bench.
Without realizing how tired she actually was she dozed off...
With no idea that she had caught the eye of someone very curious, someone who had been watching her from afar all day. Someone who was waiting quietly in the background For his moment, his chance.
