Chapter 16: Perverted Plans

It was Seven months since Lilly was forced to leave school and work at the restaurant, and despite the fact, her boss was a complete sexist, perverted pig and the fact she never saw her old school friends due to their clashing schedules and had to make do with the odd weekly text or call instead, it was definitely one of the best things that had happened to Lilly and she thanked whatever fate brought the amazing staff from the restaurant into her life especially Abby and Matt.

Over the past seven months the three of them had definitely bonded more and considered each other family and Matt had finally told Abby his secret.

Abby was the fun one who always entertained the group up with her lively antics and Lilly was the sweet one who's huge heart always looked to give comfort in any way she could when it was needed. They were an unconventional family but a family none the less and they all in their own ways looked out for each other and supported each other unconditionally.

Lilly's life had also drastically changed at home, as Jason got deeper into bed with the Mafia and his small corner patch was now expanded to a huge area selling drugs for the Mob meaning he worked long hours and was hardly home,  so Lilly had the house to herself weeks at a time which despite making her worry for her brother's safety meant she felt freer. She was however still under his control financially as she was made to transfer the majority of her wages into Jason's account for her ' upkeep' despite him practically having nothing to do with her for years.

 Lilly had refused at first and told him she was moving out, she even fought off Jason's drunken attack when he got angry in response using her self defence skills. However, when Jason changed tactics and threatened Matt and Abby instead saying he had contacts high up in the Mafia now and he would get them to hurt Lilly's friends if she didn't pay up, told anyone about his threats or moved out the house and stopped doing her  'sisterly duty'  to take care of him when he was home, e.g cook his meals and clean up after him Lilly submitted.

She did so because Lilly had been brought up with his abuse and she knew he could be cruel when he wanted to be so she didn't doubt he would go threw with his threat if she didn't comply. So to protect her friends from her brother and the threat of his  Mob associates she gave Jason the money every month as he ordered.

It was a small price to pay to protect what she cherished most - her new family.

Another person in her life who take took advantage of her, this time not of her feelings for her friends but her need to keep her job was her boss, Mr Sinclair.

Mr. Sinclair seemed to form an obsession over Lilly from the first day he met her six months ago. He would turn up whenever she was on shift and continuously make up reasons to get her in his office alone, where he would take great delight in the knowledge she was uncomfortable being alone with him but that she was forced to do as he asked.

" Mr. Sinclair, yes I am very keen to finalize my probation periods completion however tomorrow is my day off, are you available on Monday instead? " Lilly asked hopefully.

" I am afraid Mrs. Thompson I am not in on Monday and I already have meetings scheduled for the rest of the week ." Mr. Sinclair said lying with such ease.

Just when Lilly was reluctantly about to agree to come in tomorrow on her day off,  despite her body groaning in protest Mr. Sinclair knowing what she was about to say interjected and 'kindly' offered an alternative.  " I am busy next week I can't reschedule I am afraid,  but I know your keen to get on your full wage and you have been working really hard putting double shifts in and I appreciate it so to save you coming in tomorrow I am willing to stay an extra 30 minutes tonight to get it done or if you prefer we can reschedule for two weeks time? "

Lilly jumped at the opportunity to get her probation finalized as it meant her wages would nearly double so she could start saving something for her future rather than the majority all going to her brother.  " Tonight would be great thank you, Mr Sinclair, shall I come to your office now? "

" I have some paperwork to do can you give me an hour then meet me? The restaurant will be closed and the staff went home but since you're staying for a work-related matter I will be generous in light of your recent hard work and pay you an hour's overtime. Marcel or your friend Matt may stay also to drive you home as they usually do of course but I am afraid I will not be over the same hour overtime payment since they are not staying for work purposes.  "

Lilly hesitated for a brief second, Matt was meant to be taking her and Abby back to his and they had just finished working at twelve-hour shift and were starving it wasn't fair to ask them to wait. She needed to get this done and as much as the thought of being completely alone with her pervy boss with all the rest of the staff going home made her anxious she didn't have much of a choice. Besides what's the worst that could happen they were still at his restaurant Lilly naively thought.  " Of course Mr. Sinclair, thank you for your kindness overtime payment. Matt is meant to be driving myself and Abby home but they are both tired so I will decline your offer of having him wait and I will organize a taxi or call him to pick me up when we have finished our meeting. I will just go and inform Matt of our change of plans and then I will wait on you here if that's okay? " Lilly asked as her stomach grumbled protesting loudly at her offering to stay late and delay her dinner.

Mr. Sinclair laughed and gave Lilly a fake friendly smile that to Lilly's looked genuine and confused her. 

" Of course but why don't you go into the kitchen and make yourself dinner whilst you wait instead you clearly are in need of it and I will see you shortly ." Mr. Sinclair said before nodding formally and leaving Lilly to go and find Matt whilst she wonder why her boss was being uncharacteristically kind.

As Lilly explained the change of plan to Matt and promised him she would be okay and arranged for him to pick her up later,  Mr. Sinclair made his way to his office where he locked the door and then pulled out a bottle of expensive whiskey from his draw.
