The sun had not fully risen when Aarohi opened her eyes. There was a different sparkle on her face today. All night, she had been thinking about her college and the dream she had cherished for so long. The excitement had kept her awake for most of the night. As soon as she got out of bed, she looked out the window. The cool morning breeze carried the peaceful charm of her village, just as it always did. A gentle smile appeared on her lips. "I hope today goes well," she whispered to herself. After getting ready, Aarohi hurried to the kitchen, where her mother was preparing breakfast over the stove. She wrapped her arms around her mother from behind. "Mom, I'll go to the college today and complete the remaining formalities." Her mother fell silent for a moment. She looked at Aarohi before lowering her gaze. Only one thought filled her heart. How will my daughter live all alone so far away? The city is a completely different world. Aarohi noticed the worry hidden on her mother's face. Smiling softly, she said, "Why do you worry so much? I'll be fine." Her mother gently cupped her cheek and smiled. "I trust you with all my heart. Just take good care of yourself." "Yes, Mom." After finishing breakfast, Aarohi picked up her bag and touched her mother's feet to seek her blessings. Just as she stepped out of the house, she walked a few steps before suddenly stopping. "Oh!" She quickly ran back inside. Her mother looked startled. "What happened?" Aarohi picked up her water bottle from the table and couldn't help laughing. "I almost forgot this." Her mother shook her head with a smile. "This habit of yours will never change." Both of them laughed together. A little while later, Aarohi began walking toward the village bus stand. Every step she took was filled with excitement. Sometimes she looked up at the clear blue sky, and sometimes at the colorful flowers blooming along the roadside. Her heart held only one thought— Today marked the first step toward making her dream come true. The bus had not arrived yet, so she sat down on a nearby bench. While waiting, she took out her admission file and looked through it once again. A smile instantly returned to her face. An elderly woman sitting beside her noticed and asked warmly, "My child, you look very happy today. Is there any special reason?" Aarohi smiled shyly. "Yes... I got admission to a dance college. I'm going there today to complete some important formalities." The elderly woman's eyes filled with affection. "May God bless you with great success. Never give up on your dreams." Aarohi folded her hands respectfully and thanked her for the blessing. A few moments later, the bus finally arrived. As she hurried to get on, her bag lightly bumped against the door. "Ouch..." She smiled at herself and carefully stepped inside. She found a seat by the window and let out a quiet sigh of relief. Slowly, the bus began leaving the village behind. Looking out of the window, Aarohi made a silent promise to herself. I have to work hard. Not just for myself, but for Mom as well. One day, I will make her proud. Her eyes were filled with hope, and her heart carried a new determination. But she had no idea... The journey toward her dreams, which looked so beautiful from a distance, was about to become far more difficult than she had ever imagined. To Be Continued...
