A Different Kind of Love

        "Hey mom?" I say when someone answers our home phone. "Yes, Leigh?" She says. "I'm just calling to see if I can stay at a friends house." "Oh, sure honey. Wait tomorrow you have school." "Yeah, I'll just walk to the nearest bus stop by her house." "Okay, you can go." "Thanks mom, oh and I'll be there in about ten minutes to pick up some clothes." "Okay, see you then." "Bye." I say hanging up the phone. Then I send a quick text to Victor and Crystal saying 'I'm staying at a friends house tonight, so don't worry about finding me at this party before you have to leave. I'll already be gone at her house.' Victors going to freak out but and Crystals going to be happy for me.

    "What did they say?" Hazel asks as I come back. "They said I can go." I say smiling. "Yay!" She says with a big smile and she gives me a hug that was a little too long for normal hugs but I didn't mind. I like her, I mean she's really pretty and she has a wonderful personality. The rest of the girls come back with smiles and they say they are allowed to go as well. "You guys, go to your house quickly to get some clothes. We can meet back here to go to my house all together." Hazel says and we all nod and start heading to our houses. I walk down the street but once I get to the corner I start running, I'm so excited. 

    I walk in the house and let the door slam letting my mom know that I'm here to pick up my clothes. I run up the stairs almost falling because I'm in high heeled boots. Making to my room, I grab my clothes off my coffee table and look in my closet for a pair of shoes. I grab the first pair I find, they are white tennis shoes. On my way back down the stairs I'm more careful. I walk back to the door and I hear my parents say. "Have fun!" "I will." I say walking out the door. Running down the street until I get to the corner I start walking. When Hazel sees me coming she starts waving, I wave back smiling. Oh, dear. I just met her and I already have a crush on her. She's standing by a car, I'm guessing that it's her car. The car is 2018 black Dodge Charger.

    It takes a little while for the rest of the girls to get back to Hazel's Charger. Once they got here we rock, paper, scissors to see who would get the passenger seat. I did scissors and the rest of the girls did paper. That's why I'm now in the front seat. We've been the car for about five minutes before Hazel asks. "What are your guys names?" In the back the girl with the red hair and blue eyes says. "I'm Amy." The girl next to Amy which has blond hair and blue eyes says. "I'm Jenna." The girl next to Jenna which has black hair with purple streaks and brown eyes says. "I'm Kendra." The girl next to Kendra which has pink dyed hair and hazel eyes says. "I'm Zoey." I'm in front of Zoey and I have blue dyed hair and lilac eyes and I say. "I'm Leigh." Hazel has brown hair and green eyes. After our introductions Hazel pulls into her driveway and turns off her car and turns to us. "Stay here, I'm going to go in and tell my parents we're here." Then she goes into the house.

    She walks out of her house and waves at us to come out of the vehicle. We grab our stuff and start walking towards the house. Hazel holds the door open for us. Amy, Jenna, Kendra, Zoey, and I just stand by the entry way not knowing what to do. Then Hazel comes in and says. "Come on, my rooms this way." We follow her to a spacious room at the end of the hall on the main floor. In the room is two queen sized beds, a vanity, and lots of extra space. I love her room! It seems so cozy. "You can put your bags anywhere you want." Hazel says. I decide to put my bag by her or whoever shares her rooms vanity. After everyone has put their bag somewhere we sit on the edge of one of the queen sized beds. "For the sleeping arrangement we can move the beds together, if you don't mind sleeping close to somebody." Hazel says. "I'm fine with it." I say before I can stop myself. The girls stare at me and I look down blushing. "Yeah that's fine." The rest of them say and I breathe a sigh of relief for not sounding weird. 

    "Do you guys want to play some games or do each others make up?" Amy asks. "Sure lets do some make-up, if that's okay with you Hazel." Says Zoey. "Yeah that's fine, my sister left a lot of make-up." Hazel says getting up to grab the make-up from the vanity. "Who does who's make-up?" Jenna asks. "We can put our names in a jar or cup and draw from it." I say, I've always been good at making ideas or solutions. "That sounds okay." Says Kendra. After putting our names into a jar we draw. Amy got Jenna,  Jenna got Zoey, Zoey got Hazel, Hazel got me, I got Kendra, and Kendra got Amy. Once done with the make-up we decide to play a game where one person asks a question and the everybody answers.

    "First question, what school do you guys go to?" Amy asks. "I go to private school." Says Zoey. "I got transferred to the all girl school." I say. "I go to the all girl school, so I can help you Leigh." Says Hazel. "Thanks!" I say relieved not to feel so alone at this new school. "Kendra, Amy, and I go to the public school." Says Jenna. "Next question." Says Amy. "Well, I have one but I don't know if I should ask it." Says Kendra. "It's fine you can ask it, we are trying to get to know each other more anyway." Hazel says smiling. "Okay then my question is, what is your guys sexuality?" Kendra says quickly. My stomach drops. "Oh, I've been waiting for this question!" Says Hazel still smiling. "I'm lesbian!" Hazel says with a big smile and I look at her smiling, at least I know I'll be accepted by her. "I'm bisexual." Zoey says with a small smile. "I'm pansexual." Says Kendra with a smile. "I'm lesbian." I say with a smile also. "I'm a straight ally." Says Jenna with a smile. "You know you are all disgusting!" Amy says with a face filled with disgust. "I'm sorry!" Hazel says surprised by how Amy reacted. "You're all going to hell, maybe not you Jenna but the rest of you." Amy says. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave if your going to be like that." Hazel say. "Gladly!" Amy says grabbing her bag and walking towards Hazels bedroom door. "Hey Amy, please don't tell anybody anything about this. What's been said is not yours to tell." Jenna say and I'm so glad she did say it. "Fine Jenna, I won't tell anyone." Is all Amy says before she walks out of Hazels bedroom. After we hear the front door close, we resume talking. We all accept each other for who we are. Pretty soon we realize what time it is and we fall asleep.
