Author: Kall.Berti Editor & Translator: Shaduum We need to get out of here Gigaulos. _What is it, kriishen? Just now did you realize you're in trouble? _Contrary to what you think, if we don't get out of here soon, we'll all be in big trouble. _Now you think you're going to frighten me with these ridiculous conversations? _I don't have time for explanations. We have to get out of here now, before it's too late. _What do you mean by that you coward? Gigaulos asked, bothering with Tallium's apparent fear. _By chance have you ever heard of the Planet Fractal? _W...What do you mean by that? _By the way you answered me, I think you already know what I'm talking about... Too late for us to run away, they're already here. Shangrall, Gigantinhus arm yourselves and defend yourself as you've never done in your entire life. _Haha ha. Do you think I'm going to fall for your friend's old trick? The young giant who still held Shangrall by the hair mocked, giving him another shake. _Stop it and let me go, you useless. And maybe I'll spare your life. _haha... Ploft!! And Gigantinhus fell to the ground not knowing what had hit him. But as soon as he fell, Shangrall seized both his sword and his opponent's sword, which felt unreasonably heavy, and dropped it without even being able to lift it. She felt the sky darken and Rhaor vanish for a tempus. And when Rhaor timidly resurfaced aloft again, he illuminated an animal figure who resembled nothing at all like a kriishen, except that he walked upright like one of them. Shangrall had no idea what that was, but having seen the ease with which that creature had taken down Gigantinhus with its huge claws, she thought it best to keep as far away as possible from this new and deadly threat. _I'm going Shangrall, don't move! It was Tallium threatening to run towards her daughter with the intention of saving her from that danger. _Wait there you coward, I'm not done with you yet. The giant screamed without noticing the beasts that surrounded them and at the same time they remained camouflaged and imperceptible _Don't worry about me Gigaulos, you and Krashiri will have other worries now. And after a brief run, Tallium made a startling leap, landing on Gigaulos' spear that he held firmly towards him. From the spear, he stepped aside and braced his feet on the stubborn giant's shoulders. He hurled himself at the arzio with an even more spectacular leap and spun gracefully in a somersault sequence, pushing himself to get as close to his daughter as he could. And before he hit the ground with his feet, he was already wielding a sword that emitted a thin hum of energy running across its blade. Gigaulos still not believing in all that acrobatics that Tallium had done to get rid of him, when he realized, he had a new opponent in front of him, waiting impatiently for his reaction, just to start fighting. Still surprised by that apparition, Gigaulos noted that his opponent wasn't big like him. In fact, he was a little bigger than an adult kriishen and didn't even seem as dangerous as the beasts of his immense planet, who were much bigger than him. His new opponent might not have a menacing size, but he still commanded respect. At last in front of him was a creature with a mouth full of razor-sharp fangs and claws that would tear his body very easily. Although the beast didn't seem so dreadful to him the first moment he saw it. But now a shameful thought crossed his mind. The thought of running, imitating the most cowardly Tallium, who was already far away. A wave of contradictory feelings seemed to emanate from the creature's breath, dulling fear in Gigaulos' unprepared mind, who still had the good sense to better observe his enemy and not run away. In brief cycles in which the beast seemed to await his first reaction, the giant concluded that even though he was bigger than the dangerous beast in front of him, his agility would be much lower, especially when it came to running. Gigaulos was an adult and trained giant who had already participated in great combats among his race, but unfortunately he wasn't fast, he never was. And there was something about the beast that Gigaulos couldn't explain, but that made his fear grow bigger and bigger. He was sure that the ferocity combined with the agility of the infamous animal would make him be killed before he took the first step towards a failed escape and the animal would kill him without making an effort to do so. So Gigaulos' only option was to fight. He could be annihilated, but he would be fighting and not fleeing.
