Vision

V gaze never faltered. He was waiting for my next move. I was too scared to go into his cell. V stood up and walked over to the cell door. "Not coming in?" "I don't think that would be a good idea," "No, it wouldn't."  He was so close but the glass door still separated us. I wanted to feel his touch and by the looks on V's face, he knew it. "I have something I want to show you," V said with his sly smile plastered on his face. "Come on, please." I released him and V slowly walked out of his cell. "Good girl," he laughed. "You know I can kill you so don't make me," I told him. "I wouldn't dare trick you or betray you for that matter." He motioned for me to follow him. I thought he was going to touch my hand so I backed away. "I won't touch you unless you ask," V said with a wink.    "Can we just go," I snapped. "This way," he gestured. He led me out of the castle and told me not to worry. I wasn't necessarily worried but I was nervous. We followed a narrow path to an ice forest. Deep within this forest was a small temple. "A temple?" I questioned. "That's what you wanted to show me." "It was built by an ancient tribe that lived on this planet centuries ago," I had to admit it was very beautiful and I did feel something inside me being here. "Go inside," V requested. I looked back at him before entering and he just looked away. The minute I stepped inside I was shocked and amazed at the detail. There were carvings on the walls. All three spirit symbols were traced all around the temple. The air was cold and somehow even though I couldn't see it. I heard the sound of running water like a river flowing nearby. I looked at the ceiling and noticed it was illuminated with orange and red lights that resembled flames. It was an intricate design. It resembled a wave of flames desperately trying to push its way out. This tribe had created a trinity spirit temple. I knew there were others out there but I had never visited any. Each planet and its people like to keep it secret and hidden. It is a sacred place. I was overcome with so much pain and guilt. "I am sorry, I failed you," I cried out. My knees went weak and suddenly I fell on to them. The spirits came forward and circled around me. I felt comfort and peace. They suddenly plunged into me and I was given a vision. It was dark and terrifying. I began to hear chanting and saw what I assumed was my future. I saw fires and felt intense anger. It was nothing but DESTRUCTION. I then saw emptiness but it was wiped away by a glorious civilization and peace, RENEWAL. I then saw death but I did not know for sure if it was only mine or someone else's. I knew if I died I would be it would be my first REBIRTH. Everything began to fade and all that stood was a shadow figure I knew was me and two male figures standing beside me. The vision disappeared and I opened my eyes to see the room looking normal. "Thank you," I whispered to the spirits. I had hope for my future and the future of my people but I knew there would be much despair before I found any peace. I walked out of the temple and saw V looking straight at me. I suddenly felt all my emotions rise and I ran to him and kissed him. V cupped my face and pulled me deeper into the kiss. His familiar touch, scent, and embrace made me feel like I was home. It was just as intoxicating as I remembered. I pulled away from his lips and his kiss. "You didn't betray me," I told him. "I told you, I wouldn't dare," V brought his hand to my waist and pushed my slit so he could move his hand on to my bare leg. He lifted my right leg up and brought his lips back to mine. I let myself get caught in the moment but quickly reacted. "STOP!" I shouted. "Please." V just stood there confused. "I lost, didn't I?" He asked. I didn't know what to say. Both Cloud and V had a place in my heart. "You don't have to say anything." "I'm sorry," V grabbed my hand and kissed it. "We have bigger things to worry about it." "Let's go back." V held my hand all the way back to the castle. As soon as we reached the castle and headed to the throne room, I saw Cloud standing there waiting for me. He turned around and scowled at both of us. "There was a breach in the cells, someone escaped." "V didn't escape, I let him out," I told Cloud. "Not him," Cloud said. "It was Edmund, he is not in his cell." My heart sank but I almost already knew it was him. There were too many lies and secrets surrounding him. "Where did he go," I asked Cloud. "We aren't sure but I doubt he went back to Callisto," he said. "Are you sure about that," I said. "What if he wants to know if anyone might have survived." "The entire planet was wiped out," Cloud assured. "All the reports say nothing and no one survived. The planet is still on fire." I grew angry and felt V come over to calm me down. "I feel like I am missing something, I was given a vision by the spirits and somehow I think it holds the answers I need." "What was the vision about?" Cloud asked. "Destruction, Renewal, and Rebirth," I told him. "The spirits give you the answers you need not the ones you want. And if this is a sign of my 1st life coming to an end then so be it but at the same time, I know the vision held some hidden answers. That fire I saw was familiar somehow." "I don't know what it could mean but I know you will figure it out," Cloud reassured me. "So now what will you do with me," V asked. "I need you and Aero to help me, I need to speak to Aero first he knew more about Edmund then anyone of us did."
