Let The Games Begin

I slept in the most amazing bed but I was still exhausted. All I wanted to do was go back home. I woke up very early and headed to my ship without saying goodbye to V. I got on my ship and headed back to Callisto. As soon as I reached the entrance, I was surprised to see Cloud standing in the grand hall. I went inside and he was ready to scold me.
"Where have you been?" he asked.
"Why are you here?" I questioned. He gave me a disappointed look as I struggled to stay focused.
"You have been out all night and everyone was worried," he explained.
"I was spending time with one of my suitors and then there was a sudden snowstorm so I couldn't fly back until now," I said.
"Curious how I heard of no show weather conditions on any planet that would be cause for such concern," Cloud told me. I knew he had enough connections to know if that was true or not but I wasn't up for this discussion anymore. I made my way to my father's throne and slide down taking a seat. I wanted to close my eyes but Venus came in.
"Are you okay?" she asked. I simply nodded.
"I need a hot bath," I whined. Then the thought of what happened last night came rushing to my head and I began to blush.
"You okay there," Cloud said.
"MMHMM," I murmured. Venus helped me up and I began to head to the grand bath. Suddenly, Paul entered the room and shouted: "great news." I didn't want to acknowledge him but I knew I had too.
"Yes," I replied.
"I invited Edmund, Aero, and V to have dinner with us tonight," he said.
"Oh," is all I could manage to say. I didn't want to see them again so soon but I knew I had no choice in the matter. "I just saw all three of them."
"There is no time to waste, you must choose one of these men and soon," Paul explained. I didn't say a word but just waved my hand at hand gesturing I agreed, well somewhat. I headed towards the grand bath and had an amazing soothing hot bath. I got dressed and began to wonder what I was in for tonight. I wore a long-sleeve champagne-colored gown with a lace top and two high slits on each side. I walked into the grand hall and to my surprise, I saw three handsome elegantly dressed men. Edmund with his soft but mysterious demeanor. Aero was grinning at me. V had a devilish smile but was still radiating his cold and mysterious vibe. I was then distracted by Cloud standing in the other room. He was dressed nice too and my heart began to beat very fast. I didn't know why I was so anxious, excited, and scared. His eyes met mine and I looked away. He was just as cold and mysterious as V but his eyes had more pain in them. I had trouble truly looking in them for too long. Paul then brought me out of my thoughts and told me to formally welcome my guests, so I did. We then went into the other room to have dinner. Edmund sat in front of me and Aero to my left and V to my right. Paul and Cloud both sat at the end of each side of the table. I bit my lower lip as I felt the gaze of all three men trying to win my father's throne. My heart pounding and I was breathing heavier. Suddenly, I felt V's hand grip my thigh. That sent a shock all over my body and I was suddenly aware of the fact I hadn't been listening to Paul at all. I didn't even hear he begin speaking. He was talking about the upcoming Trinity spirit festival. Even though we don't have a trinity spirit currently it is a way to celebrate those who once lived. Also like all of our festivals, it is a way to pay our respects and celebrate all the spirits. All of a sudden I felt V's hand move inside of the slit on my gown. I gasped and squirmed to try and remove it. I just ended up pushing Aero so I had to sit back straight on my chair. V was grinning at me and I wanted to slap that grin off his face. I felt his hand move further and further down. I couldn't focus and I heard Paul say things directed to me but I couldn't form any word to respond to him. I looked up and say I look of concern on Edmund's face. I let out a breath and pinched V's hand. He slipped his hand out of my gown and I felt better. Cloud was planning on ways to kill V. His stare alone could do the trick. I was worried he noticed what was happening under the table but how could he? right.
After dinner, Aero walked outside so I followed.
"Hey, making a break for it?" I joked.
"No, never I just saw my competition and think I might be better living my life with Emerald and Diamond," he said.
"First off, those two give you an advantage. They are so cute. Second, V is not even in a choice," I said.
"He is a better fighter and can protect the galaxy a lot better, he trained with your grandfather I believe," Aero told me.
"Oh, I didn't know that but still I can't love someone like him," I said.
"You expect to fall in love," he said. He noticed the hurt look on my face and apologized. "I'm sorry I meant it would be wonderful but do you plan to fall in love that fast before you choose or will it come with time."
"I don't know, I guess I hoped that I would feel something for one of you and it would make this easier," I said.
"Understandable, I wish that for you. I know this isn't easy and fair," he said. I gave him a hug and we walked back inside. Paul was talking everyone's ear off and V and Cloud were giving each other death stares. Edmund was looking lonely and ready to go. I called it a night and everyone was getting ready to go. We walked them out and to their ships. V was standing way to close to me and I knew the others could tell. I figured he was trying to show them he was one to look out for but I hoped they saw right through that. Aero went into his ship first and we made a date to go take Diamond and Emerald to Caeli. It was a beautiful air spirit planet. I was already looking forward to it. Then Edmund took my hand and pulled me away from V and closer to him.
"This was wonderful, next time we should have dinner alone," he said seductively. I was confused and aroused. I didn't know Edmund had it in him. He then did something even more unexpectedly. He kissed me, on the lips so passionately I almost thought no one else was around. As soon as he let go I was left in shock. My mouth wide open not realizing everyone was staring. He went into his ship and I turned to look at Cloud and V.
"He has guts, but he should know I don't share nor do I lose," V said. He gave me a soft quick kiss on my cheek and left.
Cloud look defeated and Paul was grinning. He said goodbye to Cloud and went inside.
"Can we talk?" I asked Cloud.
