It's a bright day, in the big town of Ota, the scent of fresh trees filled the air, in the compound of Iganmode Grammar School. It was Enoch Johnson last day in high school, having written the last paper of the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) exams. The mood of every graduands was great, happiness filled the air, being the last day of a six years journey in high school. Enoch best friend in high school Lekan was teasing him about life after school, but Enoch mind was filled with the thoughts of leaving his precious mother. Having been raised by a single mother after his parent divorce, his mother has since been fexed with taking care of him and his younger sister Felicia, though the responsibility of paying their school fees rest on the shoulder of their parishioner father Revd Johnson. The marriage between Revd Johnson a parishioner of an Africa Church and Deaconess Ruth hit rock bottom, after the Revd decided to take another wife which is not against the doctrine of the Africa Church, hence prompting the Deaconess in filling for divorce. Thier was mutual understanding between them over the welfare of their children, clothing and feeding was been allocated to the Deaconess, as she couldn't leave without her children, while school fees and educational materials was allocated to the Revd. The children with their mother moved from Lagos state to Ogun state, life in Ogun state led Enoch and his sister to Iganmode Grammar School, Ota, Ogun state. Leaving his mother after staying with her for about six years brings back sweet happy memories for Enoch, his friend was teasing him about University but his mind is set on his mother, It has been concluded that Enoch must move in and start staying with the Revd, so as to form a special bond with the Revd. Enoch and Felicia do spend some days in the Revd mission house with his two new wives whenever the school is on holiday. Enoch relationship with the Revd isn't mutual, unlike that of Felicia and the Revd, so it was decided by both the Revd and the Deaconess that, Enoch should move in to stay with Revd and his two wives. The last day in school ended with mates exchanging numbers, Enoch who isn't the girls type keep his cool and was only chatting with his friends, his female friends were all over him but his usual shyness make him maintain his cool. Enoch sister (Felicia) was 2 years behind him, she was in Senior Secondary School 1(SSS1), while Enoch was in (SSS3), Leaving his sister alone was also a pain in the neck, the love between the brother and sister is beyond words. Enoch journey to his father's house isn't strenuous, his father sent his driver to come pick him up, they set off after the goodbye exchanges, Deaconess Felicia found it difficult to let go of his son, but agreement is agreement. Enoch mind was filled with the task ahead of him, preparing for entry into university, enrolling for tutorials e.t.c. Enoch maintain the space between himself and his father's wives, he's always going with his daily activities without hindrance, he has always been an obedient student back in secondary school, he's above average academically, his hobbies has always been music and football. His love for music promotes the relationship between him and Revd, Revd could always tell the choir master to give his boy a chance, Let my boy lead the choir ministration he could say. Father and son relationship started blooming till Enoch gained admission to study Mass Communication in Lagos State University, he got an apartment on campus and started another journey of life, he do visit his Mother whenever time permits, one thing he never misses is Sunday service in his father's church. Enoch became the choir master after the former Choir master relocated to another State, Enoch could leave campus after lectures on Friday and return back to school after church on Sunday. This kept him away from bad gang in school, back in school he reunite with one of his secondary school friends Lekan, they were both brilliant and help booster their academic records by studying together. Everything was moving on fine until Enoch met Macy, she was 1.59M in height compared to Enoch's 1.56M, it was love at first sight for both, on the night of a special Wednesday get together hook up for the undergraduates, Enoch love for all genres of music makes is social life a lil bit active, unlike Lekan whose high school girlfriend is the church only kinda person. Enoch and Macy could spend time together alone in each other's room despite the strict rules on campus, female hostel isn't allowed to host male after 6pm and vice versa, but they were both into one another, disregarding all rules and regulations, Enoch started skipping church services, he started being active socially, he started taking alcohol after eating the apple ? in the garden of Eden, he could explore Macy's body for hours, engaging in long hours of unprotected s*x and romance. This affected Enoch third year exams, the final stray that broke the camel back was the day Macy announced to Enoch saying "My Love, i think i am pregnant; it seems i am pregnant abi you're pregnant? Enoch asked back in harsh tone, PREGNANT, PREGNANCY, how could that be? Enoch kept on asking himself, this was the beginning of the end for their relationship. The sweetest love on campus suddenly turn sour, the best lovers in the Mass Communication department suddenly build bridges between themselves. This didn't go unnoticed in school, as rumours started circulating on campus about the communication gap between Enoch and Macy. Macy on her side was using all means in finding solutions to the situation on ground, she was trying to get Enoch parent's address, because Enoch seldomly talk about his parent due to their separation.
