PROLOGUE
My eyes squinted at the woman who pleaded in front of me. I pinched my temple and gave her a bored look as I've taken my palm into the air and granted her only wish. As soon as my power becomes visible her body started to scatter a dark fragments of mist. I was in agony when her cry got louder, she sacrificed her own life to save her daughter from sickness. It's her choice right? It is always their choice but every time I grant someone's wish, as if it's my fault.
Humans are so annoying.
"I-Is Akira going to live?" she asked crying.
"Yeah." I replied lazily. I snorted and began to release the pitch black wing.
I saw how the ground she was worshiping opened up when her soul finally left her body. Her sobbing disappeared and her body fell into the ground. She was breathless. She's gone.
I shrugged my shoulders. Well at least her daughter is saved. Whoever this woman's child is, she should be thankful. She did not see how this poor woman could beg in front of me.
I spread my wings and started to fly up. I looked down as the ground opened my way to the underworld. In my full speed I went down without noticing the bunch of monsters from the entrance of hell.
Dark and stinky surrounding welcomes my sight the moment my feet landed in front of the big castle.
That's the Abyssal Empire.
Every corner of the castle has its own guard. Deamons and Golems rather. I walked into the castle and went straight up to my room. I don't usually socialize with the Devils living here in Abyssal Empire, as much as possible I don't want to get at least a small contact with them or talk to them.
I'm okay living with myself.
But that won't ever happen as long as Sigil is here. My f*****g brother. The Demon Lord of the entire Abyssal Empire.
He's sitting comfortably on the edge of my bed.
"Severus where the hell have you been?" He coldly asked without turning his gaze on me.
"What the f**k are you doing here?" I hissed.
"Dear Prince of Abyss, you're talking to your Lord. Have you forgotten the word respect?" Sarcasm is all over his tone.
My eyebrows meet. "The word respect for a Devil? Don't make me laugh."
I walked into my bathroom. Not minding his presence I removed all my clothes and went into my small gazebo. I drowned myself in the warm blood bath and grabbed a glass of wine beside.
I drank it straightly.
"My son is going to visit here." He reminded and stood up to the front where I was. The room and my big bathroom are connected, it has no door so he has the freaking guts to roam inside my room without premises.
I licked my lips. "So?"
"Accompany him for a while."
My eyebrows meet. "Do the Abyssal Knights knew this?"
He shook his head.
"Then no." I answered and drank again from the glass of wine.
He frowned.
"Come on just for this once. He's your nephew." He grumbled. Again I shook my head.
What's his name again? I heard from Lana he's stubborn like his father.
"And so what? It's your problem not mine. Don't involve me in the mess you have." I answered before leaning both arms on the humps of the gazebo.
He inhaled a harsh breath. "Tsk, you're always useless. When you have a problem like this. Cut my one finger, I won't help you deal with your mess." He said and gave me a death glare.
I smirked. "f*****g curse me if you want. I won't get myself in trouble like you." I laughed.
"Don't talk too much brother. If you can see the past, hell I can see the future...and yours can seize a war." He laughed before disappearing in front of me.
The warm bath loosened my muscles. This feels so good. I spent a few minutes until I got bored. I wrapped the towel into my lower body and walked inside my room. I wore myself the usual black pants. I didn't mind wearing a shirt, I'm in my own room anyways.
Then immediately lay down on my bed to sleep. This is life, no troubles, no problems. Just me and my f*****g bed. I'm okay with the life that I have right now, collecting souls and granting wishes.
I don't have any interest in any other business in this freaking world, not until someone from a rainy night came out of the blue and jumped out in front of me and asked for my help.
that someone isn't just a human.
but a Celestial Angel with whom I dreamed with a solemn face.
