I felt the sunlight sting my eyes as they seeped through the curtains of my room.
I smiled even before fully waking up knowing that I will be waking up next to the one woman who makes my heart flutter with a single glance, sends my spirit soaring to new heights with just a smile and pushes me to the hems of absolute bliss with every touch and kiss.
"Good morning." I whispered with my eyes still closed and a silly grin on my face just remembering how we giggled like kids as we sneaked back into the house last night and kissed under the blanket on this same bed.
She didn’t answer so I guess she's still asleep so I opened my eyes and rolled to face her side of the bed only to find it empty.
"Daisy?" I called to an empty room and an unknown upsetting fear suddenly filled my heart.
