“Oceane, don’t you dare-”
Before I could complete my sentence, the little cheeky thing had already dropped the jar of cookies and stood on the shelf with a ‘o’ shaped mouth and wide eyes. Her crystal blue eyes that could hypnotize anyone at the first gaze looked at me with an apologetic glint while I tried to maintain a stern facade.
“Mommy, but I wanted a cookie.”
The 5 years old grumbled while giving me her best pouty lips and large oceanic eyes that held so much innocence and warmth in them. Sighing in dismay, I uncrossed my arms and walked up to her.
She gave me a wide toothy grin and launched forward to give me a tight hug making me laugh at her antics.
“Sorry mommy…”
“It’s alright my baby, but no sneaking like this next time. Alright?”
She nodded her head
