The Huntress in the Wolf pack

"SERENA LEE, GET DOWN HERE. YOU ARE LEAVING IN 10 MINUTES," Mom said. Short cut that was 11 years ago, I have not had a life for as long as I can remember. Let me introduce myself.... I am Serena Rose Lee. I am 17 years old and I have been training at the Elite Hunters Academy for 11 years. I am at the top of my class and hold the record for fastest take-downs. I have long waist-length black raven hair and baby blue, almost gray eyes. Crazy, right? My parents are the best of the best and they left me here for 11 years, making sure I became the best too. Don't get me wrong, it's not as bad as it seems. I have friends here ,but they always have to leave on the holidays and have to stay here and train. My parents are not terrible. They just put their work before me. I am used to it now. I mean its been 11 years. I said goodbye to my friends and packed my things. I finally headed back to the real world. Pulling up in my driveway, I looked in shock. I mean I was 6 when I left. And there sitting on the couch were my mom and dad smiling ear to ear. "MOM! DAD! I missed you!" he exclaimed. "Awe honey, we have missed you coming inside. We have some things we need to talk about," mom said. and talk we did. "YOUR MAKING ME FINSH HIGH SCHOOL AT A WEREWOLF SCHOOL!!' I was angry , hurt, confused. I went through 11 years of hunter training only for me to go to school and act like a normal teenager, especially right beside a werewolf. "I don't understand why I'm going to a school filled with werewolves and I have to actually be friends there?" I cried out. "Well, that's the spirit! Honey just thinks of it as another training exercise. There is a big mission that way and it's the closest school you need to finish high school," mom said. "UGH FINE. When do we leave?" I finally gave in, knowing she was not going to budge. I mean, this is the first time I've been seeing her in 11 years. They started getting up. "Right now" they both said. Fast forward to the red moon Red space "Mom, what are we doing here?" I asked. " We have some business with the alpha, then we are moving to our new house" she said. and that and all she said, basically telling me to shut up, we pulled up to the house and I got out and walked around. "Honey, meet back here in 15 minutes" Mom said while talking with the alpha. I never said we weren't friends with them for a lot of business. What else did you do except that we have all our money? These people pay us to kill their own kind. I was walking around and spotted a group of shirtless men sparring. I'm a woman I can look at. I sat under a tree and started watching them. Mom texted and said it'd probably be more like an hour shell text when they started leaving. God I miss sparing it's only been a week. But nobody can know about me yet. Mom said I have to stay invisible unless it's business-related. That's why we are so good at what we do. 95% of the werewolf population don't know us, don't know what we look like and they won't know until they are dead. Going back to those gods of men... " Huh, I guess they don't practise as hard as I assumed they did." thinking out loud, I didn't notice anyone walking up to me. " If you think you can beat them, give it your best shot, human." This guy spat out to a human like it was an insult. To me, people thinking of me as human is the only time I get a little sanity back into my life. At the academy, they called me "The Raven". I was quiet and quick with my attacks and nobody knew I was coming. I laughed at him and said "I could take them down without even sweating." I said before thinking about where I was at, all my eyes looked at me really fast. Mom is truly my saving grace. She rounded the corner with the alpha and Luna. "Awe Grace, your daughter is so beautiful", Luna said. I got up, ignoring the man standing beside me and then replied. "Why, thank you Luna, I got it from my mom." " I'm so happy you two have met Aiden. You will both be going to school together now." Luna said, gesturing towards the man who was now standing beside me. Aiden, huh, that was the gorgeous man beside me name. I guess he saw my cheeks heat up when she said his name because he gave a little smirk. "Aiden, why don't you take Serena and show her around a little," his mom said. While trying to hide the disgustingness from my voice, I calmly said " It's fine, we have to get to the house and start unpacking." I told her and, thankfully, mom and dad agreed Although Aiden looked a little upset. We said our goodbyes and headed to the house, unloaded , unpacked, ate, showered and went to bed. School started in the morning and I was not excited.
