“ ok Alice so you know what to do? Get the word to the rest of Magnus prisoners and tell them to make sure to hide close by my room til either myself or my mate comes to get them. Ok?” We have gone over this plan for the last five minutes. We want to make sure everyone is safe and secure.

“Yes. My mom is going to help with getting everyone to safety. I told her we need to protect everyone whose a victim to Magnus.” With determination in her voice.

“Good and you know you need to signal my mate and let them in.” I said

“Yep I’ll let them through the kitchen so that way Magnus and his men won’t be any wiser. He is a monster Aaliyah. I can’t live like this anymore. One of the girls who just turned 18 spent her afternoon being gang raped and my mom and me had to help clean her up. She won’t even talk anymore. She just stares at the wall of our room.” Sadness laced across her face.

“We will get everyone to safety. You have my word. My mate is coming to rescue us all.” Reassuring her but really trying to reassure myself. I have been here for four days now. We just had to wait a t out and hopefully Marcus and the rescue team gets here soon.

“Go make sure to let everyone know but tell them not to ask suspicious or our plan will not work.”

“Ok. Be safe. And thank you to you and your mate for helping us. I don’t think I would’ve survived much longer.” Her eyes adverted down to the ground.

I put my hand on her shoulder, “no one should ever have to live like this.” After that I pulled her into a quick hug and then gentle pushed her toward the door.

I sank down on the bed, worried, this needed to go off without a hitch. We need to save everyone. We just need to wait a few more hours.

A knock came to my door. “What” I said coldly knowing who was at the door. I didn’t want to see his face. I felt like I wanted to stab him and make him suffer.

“Is that anyway to greet your soon to be king?” He said with a chuckle

“You will never be king. You will be defeated and I’ll be laughing as your corpse is ripped apart. You are sick.” I spat at him and within seconds he slapped me across the face then grabbed me up by the throat.

“You will show me some damn respect or I will beat it into you. You want that? You want me to teach you some damn manners?” Up in my face his lips by my ear and all I wanted to do was throw up. Then he did something that repulsed me, he took his one hand and squeezed my right breast hard while he licked the side of my cheek. Bile raised ready to come out of my mouth all over him and I shivered in disgust. “You will learn to love my touch. You will be my w***e at my beck and call and if you won’t be I’ll beat your w***e ass into submission.”

At that he let me go dropping me to the floor leaving me in a heap. Disgusted, tear staining my cheeks but the rage and anger was building up in me. I will kill this son of a b***h with my bear hands.

I got up iff the floor and went into the bathroom to was his disgusting saliva off my face and saw the bruise already forming. I thought how he’s a dead wolf when Marcus sees my face a smirked. Yeah I won’t have to dirty my hands when my mate comes.

I lay back on my bed and waited for help. Praying to the moon goddess or all our safety.

A few hours later

I hear a whisper outside my room and could hear Alice’s voice. It must almost be time. I had to find out if Marcus and the team where here.

‘Marcus, baby are you almost here?’

‘Hey baby we just pulled up. Which floor are you on?

‘Alice told me I’m on the first floor by Magnus room.’ That made my mate growl knowing I was that close to the enemy.

‘Is Alice in position?’

‘She will be in a few moments. Look for a red headed girl.’

‘Ok baby hang tight we are suiting up right now. Hold on a little long princess. I love you’

‘I love you to Marcus.’

Thank goddess they are here and we are about to be rescued from this hell hole.

A tiny knock come to my door and that was the cue to let me know everyone is hiding and she is getting in position.

I hid in the bathroom in case Magnus came barging in. I wasn’t stupid enough to chance my safety. As I was hiding and waiting what felt like forever I started to hear voices, whispered voices. All of a sudden my door creaked open

“Aaliyah are you in here. It’s me Alice there are some people here to see you.” I perked up and came running out and the first person I saw was Marcus my mate. I ran right into his arms and hugged him so tight.

“Ok baby,” he said with a small chuckle, “ your safe you don’t have to crush me.” I let out a small laugh mixed with a sob.

“I’m sorry I just missed you so much and I thought you were dead cause I couldn’t reach you.” I sobbed again

“Well I’m fine but we need to move several people are taking care of Magnus’ men. Magnus is knocked out cold. Apparently your friends mom is good with medicines and poisons.”

“Is he dead?” I needed to know.I want that monster destroyed.

“No he is being taken prisoner. He has a partner, your former Alpha and both will be dealt with harshly.” He said with finality

I gasped Alpha Jackson helped do this to me. I wanted to ask why but it was not the time.

“Come on baby, Kyle is outside the door and we have one more room to get to before we can leave.” We left my prison and followed Alice to where everyone who was Magnus’ prisoner was hiding.

“Momma it’s me Alice open the door rescue is here.” Please hurry up we can’t get caught. I know we have help but I can’t take that chance.

“Thank goddess we were worried.” Alice’s mom said as she opened the door.

“ come on everyone we need to go now through the kitchen and out the door. You all know the way.” Marcus said

“We all followed Marcus slowly out as Kyle picked up the tail end of our group. We took a long hallway and made a right in the kitchen and out the back door. Finally I got to be outside in the fresh air.

Outside it was like a war. Wolves all around dead and others fighting for dear life. From behind us we could hear yelling and I knew it was Magnus being subdued. Two huge men I’ve never seen but felt vaguely familiar drag him out bound in silver chains. They dropped Magnus three feet from me.

“We can deal with him when we get home.” Marcus said and I just nodded. Looking at the man who tormented us and I spit in his face. Letting him know I’m not afraid of him.

“Let’s go home. I need a couple roper shower and some real food. That food made me sick to my stomach.” I told Marcus smiling at him.

“First you have a few people here that have been waiting a long time to see you.” He tilted his head toward several people coming toward me and for some reason I wasn’t scared of them.

“Hello mija I am your mother Maria and this is your father Juan. Your uncle Damian and your aunt Marta and this is your grandma Alesia.” My mother said to me and I broke down into tears and ran into her arms being embraced by both my mother and my father. I broke from them and my aunt and uncle was next “Hello little bug. I am so sorry we weren’t there to protect you.” My uncle said.

When I turned from them my grandma pulled me in a tight hug and we cried in each other arms. Magnus loved to brag about the rogues and him murdering my grandfather and it broke my heart he wasn’t here. “You are more beautiful then the Moon Goddess let on” and I giggled.

“Ok everyone we need to move clean up team is on the way to get rid of the dead. Warriors take the prisoners to the dungeon we will deal with them later. My queen needs a good soak and some much needed rest.” Marcus ordered and everyone got into motion. He pulled me into his arms and whispered in my ear “and after you get some rest we are definitely not leaving our room for the next 24 hours.” With a growl and a nip to my earlobe. Yep this man is insatiable. I couldn’t love it anymore.
