‘Kyle you need to come to my office now man. Liyah finally got through our link.’ I told my beta through our pack link.

‘On my way and we have some guest here too. Should I bring them with me?’ He asked.

‘Yes and hurry we have information from her.’ I ended the link and smiled. She’s ok. She’s not hurt and she is alive. That I am grateful for.

A few minutes passed then there was a knock on the door. “Enter.” The door opened and in walked my beta followed by a man and a woman. I stood up and walked toward them.

“Welcome to Crescent Moon Pack. I am Alpha Vasquez.” I extended my hand and so did the man and he shook my hand.

“I’m Aaliyahs uncle Damian and this is my wife Marta. Thank you for allowing us into your pack lands.” He said

“You are my mates family which makes you my family you will always be welcome on our pack lands.” I told them with honesty in that statement. “ and I see you have met my beta Kyle.”

“Yes he has been very accommodating even had some of your pack teachers take our two kids to play with some other children in your pack.” He said with a smile

I was so glad they were finally here. Now we are had to just wait on one more guest party.

“Good. I know your brother has filled you in on what’s happening and who has Aaliyah.” I explained ready to get down to business.

“Yes and I cannot believe someone we trusted at one time would do this to us.” He shook his head. Frustration clear on his face. His mate rubbing his back helping to calm him down.

Marta looked at me and asked, “Have you heard from Aaliyah? Is she ok? “ she was clearly worried for her niece.

“That is what I wanted to let you all know, she finally go through the mate bond and she is ok for now. Magnus is out to kill us all. Me because of his father attacking my family when I was a kid. My grandfather killed his dad and my father banished Magnus from the pack and your whole family because he wants to be king. He also wants to kill Aaliyahs adoptive parents out of pride and jealousy but I couldn’t care less what he does to them.” I said the last part with a growl.

“Why didn’t they treat her good? They were sworn to protect her.” Damian asked clearly feeling anger over what I said.

“No according to Aaliyah she was treated like she was a freak by the whole pack including Alpha Jackson. I have talked to your brother Juan and we have found out from interrogations with the rogue captured that Alpha Jackson was helping Magnus. I think he set us up to be attacked.” Now Damian was seething and looked ready to shift. His mate Marta hugging him to get him back. His eyes were all black.

Damian closed his eyes breathing in slowly than breathing out. He opened his eyes and they were the same blue as my beautiful mates and I really missed looking into her eyes. The one night we spent together and I spent hours making love to her or just talking and staring into her captivating eyes. Even when her wolf pushed through and her eyes were two different colors I just stared.

“So do we have a plan?” Damien finally asked and I looked at my beta and then two the two people who are now my family and nodded.

“Yes but we also have a small complication. There are men and women there who have been taken by Magnus and his men. The women from what Aaliyah told me have been raped so we are not only rescuing one person but a group.” I filled them in on all of what Aaliyah told me

“Ok so it’s settled we will wait till Magnus is asleep and sneak in to grab Liyah and the others.” Kyle said.

“Yes Aaliyah told me there are 8 women and 6 men who are prisoners of Magnus so we will just plan to meet in the woods about a mile from the compound and I’ll link her to let her know we are there.” I was getting nervous cause this had to go right. We could not afford to make a mistake.

‘Baby are you alone’ I linked Liyah, hoping she was.

‘Yes Magnus just left he said he was planning his attack as soon as his partner informs him where the royal family is. He’s going to kill my family first.’ She let me know.

‘Ok baby we are almost ready to rescue you. We are waiting on one more group to come and help. Can you get word to the others that we are going to be sending a rescue party in and we are helping everyone?’ I asked her and she said yes immediately.

‘Hang on for me baby we will be there before too long. Let them know when Magnus is in bed for the night. As soon as we know he is asleep we will do this stealthily’ I told her

‘Ok I’ll have the girl from the kitchen signal you when he is asleep. Please hurry. I’m so scared.’ My baby sounded so dejected.

‘Don’t worry honey just remember what you promised.’ I said with a chuckle‘I love you babygirl’

‘I love you too my Alpha’ and that got her a growl of lust.

“Ok so we have a young girl from the kitchen who will signal us when Magnus is out.” I informed my guest.

“Thank Goddess we really do need to get her back.” Damian says as Marta squeezed his hand.

“Now we are waiting on Juan and Maria so we can get ready to go. Since it will be another few hours you are welcome to rest up in one of the guest bedrooms get cleaned up and I’ll have one of the kitchen staff bring you something to eat.” I let my soon to be in laws know.

“Thank you dear boy. Please can someone let us know when the rest of our family shows up?” Marta asked

My beta stepped up and answered, “of course. If you’ll follow me I’ll show you to a guest room,” he lead them out “oh and Marcus get cleaned up and some food I. You too your going to need your strength.” And with that he left my office. I got up out of my chair and went to my room well it is now mine and Liyahs room. I saw her bag in my room. Someone must’ve grabbed it from the car and brought it up here. Must’ve been Kyle. (I’ll have to thank him later) I saw Liyahs shirt and put it too my face and inhale. Her scent calming Asher down. I put her shirt down and went to get cleaned up and linked for someone to bring me some food to my room. When I was done getting cleaned up I saw the food waiting for me. I hurriedly ate and laid down for a quick nap dreaming of my mate.

3 hours later

I get woken by pounding on my bedroom door. This better be important I was in the middle of the best dream about making love to my mate. I stomped to the door and swung it open.

“What” yes I was grumpy. I couldn’t bring myself to be nice when my mate is missing and all I can do is dream about her.

“Marcus honey you have guest and I don’t think you want to give these people and attitude.” My mother said with a smile

“I’m sorry momma. It’s hard with Liyah not here. I miss her so much.” I said sullenly

“I know baby but we will get her back.” My mother said with determination.

“Ok I’ll be down in a minute”

I got my shoes on and went to my entertainment room and saw 8 more people. I quickly recognized the man who will be my father in law because he looks so much like his brother and his wife who is this spitting image of my mate.

“There he is. Son come meet King and Queen Gutierrez, Aaliyahs parents.” My father beckoned me over. He bowed to them and so did I.

“You guys do not need to bow after all,” he said with a smile “we are family.” And that brought a smile to our faces.

“You have already met my momma and papa. This is my beta Kyle Valencia and his mate Jessica.”

“Yes and this is my wife Maria, my mother Alana, my son Vega, he is 16, and several of our guards. Now that formalities are out of the way can we go rescue my daughter?” He said and everyone nodded their heads. This was the moment we were waiting for. This would be an all out war.
