I hate waiting. I need to be out there finding my mate. I tried for hours to get through to her but there was a block up. What are they doing to her right now? Why can’t I contact her?

Asher is getting more and more restless by the minute. If we don’t find our mate soon he might just burn the world down.

“Yes?” I growled down the phone.

“Is this Alpha Vasquez?” The make in the other end asked

“I am. Who is this?” I asked

After a short pause he answered “This is Aaliyah’s father... her birth father.” He said

“Yes I’ve been waiting for your call sir.” Showing my respect for my mates dad.

“Yes our friend said your beta was asking questions but my wife and I need to know... is she ok? Please tell us.” He begged. As the King of all werewolf kind begging is not in his nature and I understand why. His daughter was removed from their family for her own safety and they all went into hiding.

“Sir, I won’t lie to you she was kidnapped 3 days ago after a group of rogues lead by a former pack member of mine Magnus. We have no clue why he has taken her but we have a feeling it has to do with a prophecy.” I explained.

“Yes that’s what I’m thinking to.” He said sullenly.

“Also we may have found out it is a revenge plot against my family and myself for his dad and his plot to kill us and take over as Alpha of my pack.” I told him.

“Magnus is the reason we are in hiding and why my baby girl grew up without us. We couldn’t protect her after he attacked us so we hid her in Rising Moon Pack with Alpha Jackson and his beta.” He sobbed. He was heartbroken over Aaliyah being taken. I know Alphas don’t show weakness but I could tell he really missed his daughter.

“She was raised by the betas family but she was not raised well. She shifted when she was 8 years old protecting 2 other children who are more like family and love her more than the betas family ever did.” I told him. He had a right to know how they treated her and they would have to deal with not only me but my soon to be father in law. Yes I said it I plan on marrying my girl as soon as possible. “ they treated her like a freak and name called her, refused to show her any love or attention.” I finished and I heard the growl, the anger in his voice.

“I will personally deal with those people myself.” He said with finality.

“As you wish. I have have issues with Alpha Jackson I want to deal with.” I growled. A knock came at the door.

“Hold on sir I have a visitor . Enter”

“Marcus we have information for you from the rogue” my beta said.

“Ok well Aaliyahs dad is on the phone let me put it on speaker.” I put the phone on speaker so my best friend could deliver the information he had.

“Hello sir I am Beta Valencia it is an honor to speak with you king.” Kyle showing my future father in law the respect he deserves.

He chuckled “son you can both call me Juan and my wife of here to you can call her Maria.”

“Ok Juan we found out from the rogue this goes deeper than we thought. Alpha Jackson is working with Magnus to gain a higher ranking. He also said more than that this is a revenge plot against The Vasquez family and the Martinez family. Magnus is out for revenge against the beta of Rising Moon too and the Alpha knows it.” He explained and I looked at my beta in shock. That f*****g asshole. I will rip his head off. No wonder the rogues knew where we were and how to get ahold of Aaliyah. He sold us out.

I was seething mad. “Where are they? Did he say where they are located?” I needed to know.

“As a matter of fact he did and he warned me that Magnus is out to kill you Marcus. He wants to kill you and the rest of the royal family and take Liyah as his bride to become king.” Kyle said with his eye down to the floor.

I was so infuriated I started to destroy my office. I guess the noise must’ve alerted other because my father had be in a bear hug from behind while my mother held my hands trying to calm me down. I will not let that monster take my mate. She is mine and I will marry her and she and I will have lots and lots of pups and we will live a happy and long life together.

“Baby please calm down. Aaliyah would not want you to lose your head. You must stay focused to you can rescue her and bring her home.” My mother said holding her hand to my cheek. I started to calm down and my dad let me go.

“Yes Marcus stay calm and I want you to know,” my soon to be father in law says “I will be there later tonight. We will all be there. My brother and his family should be showing up on your pack lands in about an hour and myself my wife and my mother will be there tonight and we will help plan Aaliyah’s rescue. Ok?” He asked as my mom and dad gave me a strange look knowing they needed answers.

“Ok Juan and I promise we will get her back safely. You have my word as a man and as her mate.” I said with all the conviction I had.

“Ok we will see you soon son.” And then the line went dead.

“Uh son who was that?” Asked my dad with some confusion

“Well mom, dad,” looking at them both “ how would you like to meet the royal family?” And at that my momma fainted and my dad laughed as he caught her. My momma can be somewhat over dramatic.
