Thirteen years ago…
“I’m going to abroad.” I said to my parents while we’re having our dinner. They quickly stopped eating and my dad looked at me with his eyebrows furrowed, shock and confusion are written all over his face, like couldn’t understand why I suddenly decided to go abroad.
I fully understand him, because I am just as confused as him. I couldn’t understand what’s going on my body, why I’m not aging while the others—especially my parents, are already showing signs of them getting old.
My colleagues and those people I know who are younger than me have already aged, and I on the other hand still looked the same—like I’m still twenty. Other people complimented me for not aging so fast, when in reality, I’m not aging at all.
