I quickly rushed outside where the Vengeful spirit took her. I looked around and my eyes widened when I noticed the talismans being ripped from the walls.
That’s why the Vengeful was able to enter this place! Someone has tampered the talismans and even ripped them apart so that they would no longer take effect!
I clicked my tongue and clenched my jaw, and my hands curled up into a fist. I ran to the field, it’s empty and it’s quiet, and just like the ones inside the building, the talismans that were around the place are now ripped to shreds. My eyebrows furrowed. Who would do this? Vengeful spirits can’t do this themselves because talismans emit too much positive energy—something the Vengeful spirits can’t touch because of their negative energy.
