The others and I looked at Axl, waiting for him to answer Kurt's question. But Axl didn't respond. Instead, he fed Kurt cereal.
I never thought hanging out with Axl's friends would be so much fun. Some of the things they talked about I didn't understand at all. Especially if they were talking about motorcycles, I liked how they interacted. People usually see them as punks, but after hanging out with them, I realized you can't judge a book by its cover.
"You never dated?" Travis was skeptical when he heard my story. "Oh, come on, Ellen. You're from New York. The busiest city in the world. I can't believe you've never dated."
I shook my head. "My dad is very possessive. He would be suspicious of any man who approached me," I replied.
