"Okay, Dad. Thank you for understanding," I said on the phone.
I can't go home today. I have to accompany Poland. I couldn't leave her alone. After talking to my dad, I hung up.
Axl, sitting next to me, immediately put his arm around me. He always accompanies me so I don't feel exhausted.
"You're not coming home?" I asked Axl.
After the base, Axl and I went back to Poland's house. Poland was in her room resting. I didn't want to disturb her.
"I'll be here with you," Axl replied.
I took Axl's hand, making myself comfortable in his arms. I worried about what I should do. I knew Poland was an orphan. I didn't know if she had any other siblings or not.
