Ellen POV
"Duff, what's wrong with you?" I asked. I took a few steps back from Duff, but the back of my leg hit the sofa, and I lost my balance. Duff's hand reflexively caught my body so I didn't fall down.
I was instantly reminded of Poland's remark that Duff was a jerk. He often changes women. Why did I bring Jessica here? I became afraid of Duff.
"Are you okay, Ellen?" Duff asked with his deep eyes staring at me.
I swallowed. This situation was really too intense for me. I'd done it many times with Axl. But now it feels different. I wasn't comfortable when my body was embraced by Duff like this.
