Ellen POV
I didn't know that Evergreen was such a beautiful place. This place is so incredible. The lake and the mountains. It's pretty quiet. It's so different from New York.
"Ellen!" Poland called out to me.
"Ah, yeah." I quickly approached her.
Me, Poland, and Kurt went to Evergreen. I actually wanted to come alone, but they insisted on driving me. The trip took less than two hours. Kurt used the car that Axl had used at the base.
"Can we go to Axl's mom's house together?" I asked. I was actually hesitant. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do when I met Axl.
"You don't know who Joy is yet," Kurt said.
"Joy?" I mumbled. Occasionally I saw Poland and Kurt's hands clasped together. They sat in the front, and I enjoyed the view from the passenger seat.
"Axl' mom," Kurt replied.
