“Looks like those are the only memories I can unlock right now.”
What do you mean by “unlock”?
“Your memories aren’t exactly gone, they're locked, like locking a door.”
Is there another way to unlock them?
“You’ll have to walk around more and they will become more easily unlocked. To places that may help to jog the process along”
That’s it?
“Yeah.”
Chapter 23
Crow got up from his bed and out of his room. He headed for the kitchen. When he got there he saw the rice cooker out, causing him to realize who it was that taught him how to use it. Edolas.
He grabbed a bowl and filled it with cereal and milk, beginning to eat it.
A knock suddenly sounded from his door, causing Crow to instinctively stand up and walk to the door. He looked through the peephole and saw that the person standing behind the door was Airi.
He was suddenly forced into a memory. He saw Airi taking care of the younger Crow and White. She hadn’t appeared to age at all.
She had been serving food for the two brothers when younger Crow broke the silence.
“When I get older I’ll definitely protect you, Airi. I won’t let anything hurt you at all. I’ll…” He began to blush a bit before saying his next words. “I’ll definitely date you.”
Airi stared at him for a bit before laughing, “You’ll date me?”
Crow nodded, a bit flustered.
“I’d like to see you try, little man. You’d have to make me like you first.”
“I’ll do it! Just you wait!” Crow began to scarf down his food.
“Hey, slow down. You’ll choke on your food.”
Crow didn’t heed her warning and started coughing after one of the shovelings. He eventually slowed his coughing down and swallowed little bits of the food.
“Told you so.”
