Crow watched as Airi entered the car and drove off, the little conversation with Jane replaying in his head.
Man, who can understand women sometimes, you do it you’re a terrible person, you don’t and you’re a wuss.
Crow sighed before turning around and heading up the stairs to his room. He stopped mid-way to look down at White.
“The bet is still on!” he shouted down to his younger brother.
“Yep, and I’ll be ten dollars richer when I win it!” White shouted back up the stairs.
The two laughed, as Crow replied with “yeah right”.
Crow continued to his room to collect his clothes.
He went through his closet trying to think of some outfit he could come up with. He picked out a pure white shirt, along with a burgundy button-up, and some blue skinny jeans. He picked up his burgundy Converse All-Stars.
Hmm… looks good
He headed to the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed.
Chapter 5
Airi opened the bag next to her in the car, sneaking a look inside.
“It’s perfect!”
Jane replied as she drove, “personally I think it’s very unfitting of you. You come from royalty, you should be wearing expensive clothing, not something fit for commoners.”
“It’s okay for me to wear this. I like the way it looks and I don’t want him to feel like...” She stopped to completely collect her thoughts before continuing, “like I’m too good for him…”
Jane stopped the car, sighing.
“Well, we’re here. You can start changing into it now.” Jane reached inside the bag and pulled out the price tag for the dress.
She exited the car and looked around.
“Okay, it’s safe to change, tap the glass when you’re done.”
She closed the door and stood outside.
I trust that Crow can protect the mistress. After all, he did well against Zexal. But he wasn’t at one hundred percent strength… How did he do it? Does it have something to do-
There was a tap on the windshield of the car door. Airi had interrupted Jane’s train of thought.
Jane opened the door of the car, entered, then looked at Airi. She had donned a red and black checkered dress that ended just above her knees. The shoulder straps were thin, revealing her pale shoulders.
Jane looked forward, “I take back everything I said before about the dress, it’s very fitting of you.”
