Chapter 35

“Hey White, I won’t need to wear a tie, right?” “I don’t know. Probably not. But you will have to button up that shirt.” A week had passed and Crow was getting ready for the party. He put on pants he usually wore for formal presentations and a grey button-up shirt. He buttoned up the shirt as White told him to. “This is choking me, I might die from suffocation because of this.” “Okay, I guess it’s okay if you button all but the top one.” Crow unbuttoned it, taking in a deep breath. “I can finally breathe again!” “You’re so dramatic, man.” White lightly complained. “Oh, shut it.” Crow retorted. “You still have to tuck in the shirt.” “Right.” Crow tucked the shirt in before putting on a black jacket. “Okay, looks good. Don’t forget to put on those shoes, I had them polished already.” “Man, you sure know how to get things done. I owe you one.” Crow thanked his brother as he pulled his phone out, he scrolled to Jane’s number and dialed it. “I’m already outside.” Jane spoke when she answered the phone.  “What? Are you serious?” He looked outside and saw a black car waiting for him. He turned to his brother, placing his hands on his shoulders, “you’re going to watch over this house while I’m gone. There’s a possibility that when I come back, I won’t be your virgin older brother. I might get to-” “Will you just go! I don’t need to know if you’ll use your chance to ascend past virginhood.”  Crow, in response, laughed, “Okay, okay, I’m going now.” He waved and turned around to the door, opening it.
