Chaos: the attack

Ibinabo makes it to her chambers before Lord Nathan could send for her that early. Immediately she reached her Chambers she heard a knock on her door, she slips the hairband down her wet did pocket. She veils her face and heads towards the door, she opens up to the a messenger boy who salutes her with his face down and one of his knee bent down as he hands over to her a letter of summon from the house of the Lords. She asks him to rise and discharges him. She goes back into her chambers and sees the summon is from Lord Nathan. She dries off her hair, changes her wet dress and took on a strap on dress. Pulls out her sword and tucks it in by her side. She veils her face and takes her staff from the side corner of the room. She heads over to House of Lords. It was at the topper most part of the Empire and it was very quiet over there. The counsels and Chancellors abided there. Laws that govern the Atlantic Empire were promulgated at the house of Lords. The chief physician, Lord Nathan by right was among the Chancellors and The supreme Lord over the House. He had the Emperor's interest at hand and not just that he was favoured by him more so. The Emperor uses people he could trust in all the colonies of his reign. Lord Nathan had summoned Ibinabo to give reports of her latest task and preparation plans against the war of the Ecplise. The news of the Raid of the Pacific had leaked through out the Empire and the people sent in queries to the house concerning the possibility of a retaliation and how they would handle the matter. As they all panicked, it was not because they didn't believe in their defenses against the Pacific warriors but the could remember what happened when the Ecplise left them vulnerable. Concerned members of the Empire sent in their grievances through their petitions. The validity of the Action of the prince in a foreign land was questioned as it had led to a stirred up feud. Ibinabo was to give account of his current misdemeanor and how much she had observed to see if the prince should be sent in to give account too. The Empire had traditions, principles and customs that governed their actions and affairs. In and out of the Atlantic City.

Ibinabo arrived the house with alot on her mind being that she knew the pressure from the Lords who sat alongside Lord Nathan was getting fused. As several rumours had it that the town had started loosing fate in the imperial army. She however answered to no one on the Island except the Emperor. Having been that he gave her orders to find the prince and make sure she stays safe, she was on the right. Lord Nathan being a part of the team that joined on the voyage was estopped from.sittimg over the query but at the mean time she was summoned by Lord Nathan and was given audience at his inner chambers. Where they both converse over the situation and how far the prince has gone to convince Sandy to fight for them as she might she be the one who would set them out for redemption as it was foresaw. But she also states that the girl might be a distraction". Lord Nathan is very much Interested in Sandy as she struck him as very intriguing and she had this innovative flare that he knew she would be of help in this times. Even tho she might so little to offer such great army but she might be the last straw that breaks the camel's back. So he urges Ibinabo to set an eye on her and help her develop to her potentials as soon as possible so that she may be abreast with the way of the Imperial warrior. Before she is sent to the spirit island to harness a special ability. Ibinabo understood all that Lord Nathan had required of her, she nods in affirmation and informs that Lord that she would be honoured to served. As always. Ibinabo left the chambers, and took a walk back to her chambers. She would return later on to give accounts when she is summoned and the Emperor is seated so they could make necessary plans to fend off the attack and make strategic plans against every adversary. As she heads towards her chambers she notices someone is following her. She keeps going and this time she changes her pace to a subtle one and then heads past her chambers down to the lake.... As she keeps going that way, she takes a sharp turn that sheds her. She pulls out her sword and her eye glows as she was already pissed at the audacity for anyone to plan an assassination attempt on her. As she takes her face out to see who was there, she immediately comes in close contact with an arrow. Immediately she puts her head away and then hits her staff on the floor and everything slowed down. She quickly turns to run after the shooter and he was very much conscious of her but he couldn't move as fast as she did. As she reaches then she snaps her eye and everything returns to normal pace. She pulls her sword on his throat to prevent him from running or even slightly moving a she would cut off his won head. He turned to look at her with a Stern look of fright in his eye as he noticed the fury in her eyes and the blue that glowed. He drops his bow and out his hands up in surrender. "who are you? And what makes you think you're worthy to be my end?"... Ibinabo asks as she puts him on his knees with a kick on his thighs. He falls and rises to his knee and prays for mercy. She grabs her head and unveils him and notices that he had a brownish red eye. An assassin from the Pacific as usual. She wondered when they would show up.. She snaps his neck in a way to put him unconscious but not kill him. He takes his body and heads back to house of Lords to dispose him as evidence of urgency but she stops in between her transport. She turns to the mountains and throws the body off a cliff. She stands there and observes the waves that moved the tides of the sea. Below. The top part of the city was vulnerable mist to attack. It was guarded whatsoever and what lurks down below the mountains was unknown. She realized the have been a security breach and it was probably from this part of the Atlantic. The Mountains. The house of Lords was heavily guarded so it was safe anyways and the each chambers was made with iron barricades that seem to shelter the power House of the Empire and it rules. She had to report this or maybe do a security check with the castle and further corners of the empire. So she headed back to the main City where the Royal Castle was to charge the guards and armies to stay more than vigilant as they have been a breach. Intruders were treated with immediate response. As she heads towards the castle, she hears the city warning bell. She picks up pace and runs as fast as she could to the castle to collect information and mist importantly to stand beside the Emperor and protect the throne. Too early for war. She thought as she ran with inexhaustible speed.
