"My Prince,".. the guard knelt quickly and then stood up. "your father summons you". He said. Prince Jath held his head up and walked out of the lake, put on his clothes and dried his hair. He left Sandy immediately still in the water. But he turned one time to look at her and smile and he walked away with the first guard. The second guard stood facing the other side waiting for sandy to come out of the water so he could escort her to her chambers. She came out, got dressed and followed him. It was the same guard that she had earlier tamed. I guess things really do happen for a reason. Now it was his turn to get at her. He purposely kept on telling her exactly where to go as they kept walking to the castle. On her way back she saw Ibinabo outside the castle talking to guards and Lord Nathan with lady Mildred in the background. She tried to walk as fast as to avoid her sight but it was too late as she was already spotted by lady Mildred who called on her and waved. She wanted to run past them but she would only just bring suspicions to herself. Her hair was dripping wet and her top was in her hands. It was obvious if she had been spotted that anyone could tell she had gone for a swim. Ibinabo did well to spot her and her eyes met with Sandy's as she waved back at lady Mildred. They all looked at her direction and kept talking like it was a minor gossip. She knew she was going to be asked questions the next morning so she was already thinking of a lie to cook up by then. She hopes they don't find out she was with the prince too. Things would be too strange for her if she had this kind of attention to her at a time like this were she has almost earned her spot in the heart of the Empire. Her night went from calm and boring to a well collected nigh to bitter and sour. She wasn't going to regret everything at least. She still hoards in pleasurable memories, the moments she shared with the prince and it could only but light up her heart that she would be spending the next day further more with him at the fields in training and duels.
She got to her room in castle and changed her clothing once again to something dry, maybe the silver linen gown that was amongst the clothes she was gifted by the Emperor. It was suitable and flare enough to allow her get some sleep even at such a late time of the night where it was so Cold. She laid up still thinking about her decision to be intimate with prince Jath and that smile he gave her before he was called out of the lake by the guards. Not quite long, she was brought to her feet when she heard a scuffle through her door. She went close to door to see if anyone was there it was too late and the doors had been locked from the outside as usual so she could check to see who it was or what it was. She put her head to the door and placed her ears firmly against it to check if she could hear anything. A paper was slid across to the other side of her room. She jumped up as true paper startled her as it touched her feet. "Hello, who is there?".... She called out but no one answered. She picked up the paper and unfolded it. There was a word written in bold. She read it and kept on reading it like it was something stranger than words. "DO NOT TRUST HIM" covered in red ink and perfectly scripted in italics.. This words must have come from a place where she had no idea but she was sure whoever wrote this must have known she and the prince we're getting too close and she wondered who that was. She kept wondering who possibly sent this to her but she was out of options as she had too many people in mind. She left off that night yet in another dilemma. The business of the Empire was catching up on her and maybe Sandy wasn't ready for this yet. All she had to focus on now was to survive, survive again and gain her chances to freedom while being the best she could. This little things were the hardest to do. When you could do so many other things that were once out of your league. Now the price she must pay was getting too much for her pocket. However , she slept off tht night to a sad sober theme, only when she saw her fantasy looking like it was worth living, reality sets in to wrap things up.
