Breathe: Ibinabo

"It's enough that we have our differences but it's also pertinent to note that we need to work together. There's alot at stake to have dissenting commands and plans. Me and you both know that we never thought we would make it out of the realm in search of the Prince".... Lord Nathan said in a bid to admonish Ibinabo. In their traditional law Lord Nathan was higher in rank than Ibinabo but to her it was a mere hierarchy. She was silent through out their walk towards the shores of the Pacific where their ship landed. "I agree to your line of thoughts your lordship, but my Paramount duty is to keep everyone safe, and that includes you sire. So you must not always do as you please. I have far more experience in warfare and you have your calculations and Premonitions. That's far more than enough to keep us ahead and safe. I agree with you and there's no more she could say to keep us in check. I'll try my best to keep our boundaries and still do my job". Ibinabo pulled up her veil to make contact with Lord Nathan and her eyes were subtle blue and teary from the cold breeze. She stretched out her hands to show her pure intentions. Lord Nathan clasp his hands with hers to signify a seal of solidarity. " If you don't mind I would love to collect some of the fresh breeze that Stern's from the water before I join you all." Ibinabo said as she turned to face the sea and watch the tides afar and the moonlight reflect on the waters that drew a shinny pattern like glitters floating under the sea. Lord Nathan always admired her openness and Walked away towards the camp in confusion as to what inspires her strange essence sometimes. Above her was the sight of the great ship that came from the Atlantic. The Empires pride and warship. It sat so mighty and beautifully right on the shores of the white sands of the Pacific. Ibinabo moved towards the water and knelt to wash her face. She felt the cold water on her face and it relieved her of some the tension. She opened her eyes to pick the water and gush on her face one more time and she noticed a reflection in motion right above her from the water. In reflex action, she rolled over and pulled out her sword but she couldn't find anyone or anything. She got on her feet and searched through her surrounding only to find a Nightingale hovering around the ship then it flew forward and perched on her shoulders. She wondered if that could have been what she saw. She raised her arms and let the bird walk towards her palms. It was beautiful and it's soft feathers were dark and fluffy. It twist and turn it's neck as Ibinabo rub her thumb on its feathers. Ibinabo looked above to see if it had been accompanied with it's flock but the sky was dim and silent. Nothing soared up high and she was skeptical about to letting it go. " You must be lost, or you may be sent up here to spy. However it may be, you belong to me now birdie". Ibinabo was a fierce warrior but there was some soft spot to her. She took a walk through the shores, the bird planted it's feet on her cotton clothing right on her arm. As the wind became more intense and it seemed like a storm was coming the bird opened it wings and went up to the skies to test the wind. Ibinabo watched the bird soar up high and returned to her shoulder after a while. She picked her sword from where she dropped it and headed back into the woods to find the rest of the warriors.
