" I just feel like I am not here for real. I can't really phantom out what reals and what's not anymore. There's this feeling in my guts that tells me that I need to question my reality, this reality. I hate how it feels but I wish to defer from what I have been told so far. I want to see what I remember, I want to talk to people from England, I want to stand beside bacon and Percieve the scent of fresh meat while my Grandpa grunts over breakfast which he hardly ever eats with us."... All this seems like the life I wished for, away from my family but it's just too much for me handle at the Moment".... Do you understand ?, I feel lost but I need to find myself". Sandy with so much tears budding up my eyes. Prince Jath dropped his sword and sat besides her with his legs dropping Into the water. A bit cold but he had to sit that way so he could look into her eyes properly. If not all the time but he enjoyed looking into the her bright brown coated eyes. He stroked her hair properly to get a better view of her face and handed her a comforting stare. " I understand. Do you know why I disobeyed my dad and went ahead to cross the boundaries?"..... Sandy shook her head in a negative response. "No, why?".... She said looking up to him realizing he had been trying to get him look at him for a while now with the way his eyes were fixed at her face. She was a bit startled when she lifted up her face but his beautiful features calmed her nerves and brought peace as his eyes were reflecting the waters that was right under them, peaceful, cold and relaxed. Prince Jath smiled and moved hos eye away from her gaze. Now she has the one stuck staring. But not just because she wanted to but she was expecting a response anyways.  "I was tired of the limits, I was tired of the appraisal and all other fanatic in the name of the empire. I wanted to explore. I went ahead more than I was allowed to, I might have not Intended my capture but it was anticipated and I was confident I was going to fend it off but as fate would have it. You all came to my rescue and most importantly I met you. So we you arrived the first I met you was out of the Empire and I am yet to say it wasn't worth it. Meeting people in the face of danger, especially if they are the one who created the dangerous situation in the first place is where you know how much virtue a person possess. I watched you in the woods picking sticks for the fire before I decided to reveal myself. You have been a way to escape from this routine lifestyle I have had for a while. Every year we fight the territorial wars, a person gets sacrificed for our sake, we win the war and the Queen returns to the Pacific in defeat just to come back the next year. How ever, I have been looking, searching and seeking for a place, person, reason and a purpose outside the one I was born for. I have outgrown it and it has become a weary one especially when everyone is so loyal to my Father the Emperor and for some sort of reason, they wish to see what they see in him in me. Except the looks and features ofcourse"... He said as he smiled to his last sentence. Sandy kept staring and listening. She coul almost hear herself from what he had said so are but she wanted to hear more.. more about him, more about the Empire, the war and all that is still keeping her here. She wanted to leave ofcourse but she wanted to understand so far what she had accomplished and how much is left to do before she could break this trance and set sail to reality. Or just sail home. "Why is the war fought yearly and why must there be a sacrifice to win?".... She asked this time her eyes a bit settled on his lips waiting for it to move and bring out words to soothe her itching curiosity. " The borders that divide the Pacific and the Atlantic is as a result of the stolen sun stone which was a sacred treasure of the Atlantic. It harnesses the power of the sun and brought all it's powers to the throne. Both with the moon. The Emperor was the ultimate ruler of both kingdoms and tribe. All Pacifiians were residents of the Atlantic untill the brown eyed moved to possession the other end saying that the Emperor was biased in his policies as it didn't consider that being that the Emperor was birthed at night. So he had the eye of the moon but with the heart of the sun as he was seated on the royal throne. But all his was major propaganda by someone who was dear to the throne."... Sandy threw a quick glance up and turned to look at Jath.... "Queen Goriel". "Yes, Goriel. She stood beside my father before i was born, she was the force behind the resistance and the elders who were of the Sun stood beside her and cautioned her Into provoking the people who are now of the Pacific to rise against the empire when the Ecplise happens, the sun stone powers all of the city and those who are born of the sun were the only defense the empire had. However on that day, the sun stone was stolen and the Queen called for a division of territory and call for equal ruling power over her people as the occupy the Pacific, while he emperor saw over the affairs of the Atlantic. Since then, several attempts has been made to recover the Sun stone and repossess the Territories of the water. But it yielded no positive results at each trial because the powers of the moon was now only limited to the territories of the Atlantic and the Pacific warriors were never going to cross their bothers for a war where powers were even. The Atlantians have the best warriors and we were naturally born to rule and dominate the battle space. But as it has been, knowledge beats skills. The Queen knew about all this and has limited her armies to the borders where she could be sure she couldn't be defeated. Years after years, the Queen since she isn't the legitimate possessor of the Sun stone had to travel to a far land where she could harness the powers of the Sun through native rituals and traditional elixirs from ancient chiefs and spirit creatures."..... Prince Jath with all that he had said so far, breathed out and sighed in anticipation of a subtle comforting response from Sandy but she was beginning to understand what the empire was about and she couldn't help but throw another question at him. "What about the scroll, why is it so important to the Empire?..." She asked this time her stare fixed at the water under her feet which had started becoming warm. "The scroll is delivered to the Empire every year showing signs of diplomacy and as such it either signified peace this year or War. So far the scroll sent didn't indicate any. It simply brought greetings to the Empire. So in anticipation of a traditional battle it is demanded that we prepare for the worst. And now that we...I.. had trespassed to the Pacific and so far infiltrated their Territories. It is assumed that it is an invitation to war. And as such this year the Ecplise will occur. Therefore the whole Empire is at risk and not just that the sacred throne and it's powers is also at risk of an usurp. We need to build a power battalion. The Ecplise is meant to last for 48hours according to Lord Nathan. So we can fend off any attack if we have enough men to fight... I believe you can now see why you are very much valued having been that you might be affected by the Ecplise and you possess skills and ideas that might change our whole plans and maybe even bring us to victory before the Ecplise is over." Sandy smiled back at him and then turn to look up above the sky trying to accept all that she has heard and also trying to compare it with all that she feels. She still feels something missing and it wasn't even the fact her mother or her whereabouts wasn't even in the picture of all that has been said. She was made to believe that she had been captured of lost during the storm. But she still doesn't believe it. Her doubts about the empire and it's truth about her personally grew daily and more when she had time to think of all possible outcome of her continuous stay in the Empire.
