Intimacy

It was a bit strange for Sandy to have passed the castle down to the first door and out to the lakeside without the guards objecting her or proposing to escort her to wherever she was headed to. But to her surprise they had just let her through without so much hassle and questions. Only one of the familiar guards that keeps looking at her like she stole something from him asked her to hold as he assessed her and then asked to move on. Sandy grew irritated of his constant harassment and show of power. It had started being more personal instead of doing his usual job. But however, it was a bit lessened when he found out Sandy was a person the prince trusts to be with alone without guards, not that he couldn't take care of himself far more better than the guards could if he surrounded himself with them, but the prince by royal ordinances was not allowed to be left to be alone while he was off the castle. How much more with a strange blood. This so called strange blood has so far received the level of respect and attention that has brought her stay in the castle almost treated like a royal blood received as a guest and the guards after the contest and seeing her skills in Archery, confidence and her proclaimed ordination into the imperial army Archery unit began to show her some form of respect and maiden treatment. However not all Trusted her for it would be foolish to do so.  She was less disturbed over simple situations. She had knights and guards on duty hit their Spears on the ground and clamp their swords as she passed them in show of respect or solidarity. She was not aware of what it meant but she had noticed them do it Everytime ibinabo passed or any reputable figure in the Empire. She was surprised she had attained such level, it felt good but sandy wasn't the type to let fame or celebration of this sort get to head. She already had a master plan and she had to keep to it no matter how long it was that she had to stay in the Atlantic Empire, play along with their gimmicks and help them fight and bring fort innovative ideas that they seem to lack in such a beautiful world. "Hey, I thought you were going to bring two swords I have none"... Sandy said to the prince as she noticed he had just one. "How do you not have a sword? You're a part of the royal army now, the biggest and most prestige group of warriors in the land. And you still have no sword?.... The prince teased. Then he handed his sword to her as he had another one right in his pouch on his side. He stood and stretched, he seemed still a bit sleepy as compared to Sandy who had some sleep but has been awake hours before, she was so excited to be having her private training session with the prince, who she did not only feel attracted to but also the best swordman in the Empire. The dawn was still very young, daylight wasn't coming for probably an hour and some minutes after. Sandy lifted up her sword which was forged with the symbol of the imperial army on it. She noticed the ship they used to Atlantic had the same symbol on thier flag and on the sharp edge of the ship. She taunted him like she was about to pin him down with just two swings of her sword... " Be careful though, you may hurt yourself the sword is pretty sharp."... Prince Jath said ignoring her silly gestures with the swords mean to get a physical reaction from him but rather he was concerned about her hurting herself over. The sword was pretty sharp and it always was. The armoury of the imperial army was far more better mantained than the general armoury. He showed her certain stances for defenses and attacks, same as Ibinabo had did earlier in her first training. He led her through how to strike and swing her sword and most likely he emphasized on her grip. He tried on a simulated attack on her and the went on practicing till the sun came crawling in. "I need to drink some water"... Sandy panted out in a moment, trying to catch her breath also at the same time. She dropped her sword and went on to the lake to drink from the flowing water. She stared a moment at her reflection after she had severally gulped and gushed a handful of the cold clear water. The lake was a great delight to be around, it was cold at one end and steaming on the other end. Sandy watched her reflection dance along with the water till it got steady. She had a familiar feeling, almost like she had a deja Vu. It kept feeling like she had been there before, that very moment seemed like a faint memory that was getting clear to her. She was brought back to her reality with a tap on her shoulders. "Sandy"... "Are you Okay?'... Prince Jath came to her as he had called on her severally. But she was lost in the moment. A bit far off reality it seemed but was very real. She came back to her consciousness and reacted to the prince as she would.
