“Baby…”
I squirmed in place when a hot, soft breath tickled my neck. I slowly opened my eyes and found Zero, who was wearing a gentle smile. It seemed to me like he had been awake for quite some time already.
Oh, s**t!
I scampered sitting upright while keeping the blanket around me to cover my naked body. Feeling slightly conscious, I glanced at Zero and caught him licking his lips before grinning.
“Stop it!” I warned him.
His brow shot up. “What did I do?”
“You’re teasing!”
“I’m just smiling.”
“That’s a grin!”
“I can’t help it. I’m fascinated.” He shrugged his shoulders and finally admitted. “I can’t believe you’re still getting shy about me after everything we did.”
“That’s a completely different situation!” I reasoned and felt the heat of embarrassment going up to my cheeks.
