I was forcing my knees to stop shaking while gracing down the hallway on my way to my apartment. The courage I had a few moments ago was long gone. I didn't know where it went. I couldn't take it back. Zero was quiet and serious the whole time. He seemed very hesitant when we were inside the car. He didn't accept nor reject my invitation while we were still on the road. I almost thought he would pretend that he didn't hear anything, but the moment we arrived at the complex, he got out of the car ahead of me and opened my door.
