My breath hitched, and my pulse echoed loudly in my ears as our lips touched. Completely taken aback with his lips pressed on mine, my mind went blank. Heat flared up inside me, and I could feel myself losing control.
“Zero… N-no…” With the last shred of my sanity, I tried to push Zero away from me and pulled my head back.
For a brief moment, I saw his gaze burning recklessly and intensely as mine, and like he didn’t hear me at all, he only leaned further to deepen his kisses and place his hand on the back of my head. I could see that he didn’t have plans to stop in his eyes. His boldness took my breath away as he claimed every corner of my mouth, and his passionate kisses made it impossible for me to make the right choices and decisions.
