A very wealthy married couple, exceedingly kind to others — all who came to them seeking help, whether they knew them or not, were given aid without hesitation. Unknown to the couple, there was someone who envied them: a sorceress who came from a faraway land. She harbored a secret love for Liam and deep anger toward Enis. She cast a curse upon them, unknown to either of them. The curse was this: they would bear a child unlike any other — and she would be the cause of ruin and misfortune for all who drew near to her. Then Enis conceived. The couple rejoiced, unaware of the curse the sorceress had spoken. It was at Enisa’s birth that the tragedy struck — the event that would forever change the course of their fate. Everyone in the household of Liam and Enis perished — everyone except Enisa. She survived, but she carried the curse within her. Yet what the sorceress did not know was this: one person’s curse can be turned into a blessing — and she herself would never know it. Enisa would grow up not as a bringer of ruin, but as the one destined to save her people in the time to come.

EPISODE 1 — The Kindness of the Married Couple
Long ago, in the Town of Greatness. The land was peaceful, yet even so — many still suffered in poverty. There lived the wealthiest married couple in the whole town — Enis and Liam. Enis was exceedingly beautiful, with long, gleaming hair and a gentle face. Liam, on the other hand, was handsome and strong, with a well-built frame and eyes the color of deep, rich brown. They owned vast farms and plantations across the land, and were known not only for their wealth — but for their kindness. They always helped those in need, whether they knew them or not. One morning, inside their grand home, Enis instructed their old servant, Mang Pablo: "Go throughout the whole town and call all the beggars. Tell them to come here — we will give them help and what they need." The old man obeyed his master at once. To every beggar he passed, he told them to go to the rich couple’s house to receive help. When the people heard this, they all went there immediately. When Mang Pablo could find no more beggars, he returned to Enis’s home. Upon arriving — he saw all the poor people lined up neatly, waiting with hope in their hearts. Everyone who received help thanked the couple from the bottom of their hearts. There was even a little boy who ran up and hugged Enis, crying for joy, and said: "Madam Enis! Thank you for your help — we will finally be full!" Enis stroked the boy’s head and smiled sweetly. "You’re welcome," she said gently. Meanwhile, outside the house’s grounds, a beautiful woman happened to pass by. She glanced at the people gathering inside — and there she saw Liam. And in that moment, her heart fell for him. When the distribution of food and goods was finished, the people went home — all wearing smiles, smiles that showed true happiness. The beautiful woman remained outside the fence, listening to the laughter of those who had been helped, and her heart beat faster for the man she had seen. Inside the house, Enis walked up to Liam and said with a sweet smile, "It feels so good to help others, doesn’t it, my love?" Liam nodded and replied with love in his eyes, "Yes, it brings so much joy. I will never forget those people’s smiles. They will stay in my mind and in my heart forever." They embraced tightly, full of love and peace — unaware that outside their home, someone watched, her feelings slowly shifting from admiration into something deeper, more consuming. Their moment of peace was broken when someone knocked on their door. It so happened that none of the other servants were nearby, so Liam himself went to open it. He thought it must be someone who hadn’t yet received help. But when he opened the door — a beautiful woman stood before him. Her skin was fair and smooth, her face kind and gentle. She wore fine clothing, and smiled sweetly as she looked straight at him. Enis walked over from a little distance. Seeing her husband speaking to someone, she asked curiously, "My love? Who is this?" The beautiful woman was startled by what she heard. In her heart she thought, "Oh… he is already married. This cannot be." After thinking this, she said softly, "I just came to ask for a drink of water." "Oh, only water! One moment," Enis replied at once. "Cold or room temperature?" "Room temperature is fine," the woman answered. Then Liam said, "Come in, please. Come inside first — let us talk for a while. I can see you are weary." He opened the door wide. The woman entered, and they offered her a seat on a soft sofa. When the water was brought to her, the woman faced the couple and said honestly, "I must confess the true reason I came to you." The two fell silent and waited. She took a deep breath before continuing, "I wish to join you in your work of helping others. Please — take me as one who serves the people alongside you!" Enis and Liam looked at each other in surprise. After a moment, Liam smiled and said, "Yes — we will welcome you! Come back here tomorrow, alright?" Enis asked, "By the way — what is your name?" The woman drank her water before answering, "I am Oryang. I must be going now! Thank you for the water — I have somewhere else to be." She stood up quickly and bowed to them. Enis said warmly, "You are very welcome. It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Enis, and this is my husband, Liam." Oryang smiled, and they shook hands. But behind her smile — lay a deep, hidden pain and longing in her heart. After their meeting, Oryang left at once — carrying the heavy hurt in her chest. When she had walked far from the house and entered the deep forest, she heard a whisper. A voice that did not sound human. "Oryang… I feel the pain in your heart." Oryang froze, picked up a stick, and stood ready. "Who are you? Show yourself! I am not afraid of you!" she called out. But the voice remained calm — "Do not fear me, Oryang. I only wish to help you. Do you want to kill the wife… so that the husband may be yours?" At that moment, black butterflies gathered all around her, swirling together in one spot before her — and from them, emerged the figure of a cloaked, shadowed being.
