The sun would set, a new day would dawn and Kyle would try again and again to win over his mate. From invitations for meals, to large bunches of flowers, to impromptu visits, to sparkling jewels, Kyle tried his best. He even included self-written poems for each gift, professing his love and adoration for her. He wrote her a song, telling the story of their journey and how they could have hope in their future. Kyle even saw to her health and would personally deliver her medication, but Viola’s stubborn and unforgiving nature was proving to be challenging.
Eventually, days rolled by and Viola was no closer to forgiving him than she had been when he first arrived. With every day that dragged on and with every rejection of her mate, Viola could feel Ely slipping away and her body caving in.
