Chapter 65
I chatted with Diana and Ann for a few hours. We had a lot to catch up on. Diana told me she had been learning things from Rohl and had helped him tend to the injured on the battlefield. Ann mentioned how she had stepped up as well, organizing the other wives in order to ensure that they had enough meals prepared and supplies for the injured warriors. “Looks like our estate management training from the nuns came in handy” I said to Ann. She laughed and replied “Yes, who knew that those nuns would prepare me for life on the battlefield.” I leaned back in my chair and placed a hand on my belly. The baby was becoming restless and I knew it was time for me to find Halvor and head back to the estate. Ann and Diana helped me up and I said my goodbyes. I exited the tent and looked
