Chapter 64
After the most wonderful nap with my husband, we got up and readied for the war meeting Halvor had called. We both bathed and I made Halvor help me into a gown. He had a smirk on his face the entire time, but couldn’t hold back his laughter as I asked him to help me with my shoes. I frowned and said “When you’re old and grey and have a belly this big we’ll see who will help you with your shoes” I grumbled. Halvor chuckled and said “If I ever get old and grey and a belly this big I’ll go out into the forest and let the wolves eat me.” I scowled at him and hit his shoulder playfully as he stood up.
