Chapter 40
All the warriors lined up in the arena again and Halvor and I stood ready. Halvor engaged the first warrior as I focused. I joined him immediately, weaving around Halvor and disarming anyone that came near us. With Halvor I didn’t have to split the warriors up. We could take them head on. Halvor knocked the sword out of the last warrior’s hand and looked back at me with a huge smile on his face. I smiled back at him and he impulsively wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me to him into a hug. “That was amazing, but Halvor how did you know what to do?” Gala’s voice rang out behind me.
