Chapter 41
When I woke, Halvor was already almost dressed. I quickly got out of bed and Halvor turned to me saying “I’ll wait for you and we can have breakfast together, then we will go to the warrior camps just outside the castle.” I nodded and rushed to the washroom. I put on my battle uniform, sans cloak and pulled the top half of my hair up in a braided bun, leaving the rest down. “I like your hair like that” Halvor mused. I nodded and said “Gala likes it this way too, she said I should wear it like this so that the enemy knows a woman is coming to kill them.” Halvor laughed heartily as we exited our room and went down to breakfast.
